Hey F_F I feel the same this week it has all slipped towards the end of the week as I have been disorgansied. Going out for dinner and cocktails on a budget doesn't really work either:rolleyes: So I am already red with tomorrow still to go.
ETO I hope you have a fab weekend.
Kezlou your picnic sounds bliss, much more romantic than a meal out.
juicygirl you can tell you are from Glasgow with the Irn Bru, did you know it is supposed to be fruit flavoured. Now the question is what fruit.
throughlybrokemillie welcome I have added you to the list hope you will join us for the full week next week.:j:jWeekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

So even though it was OH's birthday yesterday we enjoyed a picnic by ourselves by the river. Bonus didnt spend a penny just took food and a flask of coffee to share between. Did the same thing today. soppy i know.
That sounds SO lovely!:heart2: I'd love to do something like that for a birthday, it's all very well going out and doing the big bash thing but it's little moments like yours that you treasure

I'm going to call in a NSD even though it's early in the day- went to the shops and didn't buy a thing, going to see a friend at work tonight so won't spend anything there either. Got a callback for the job interview! I get to spend a day seeing what it's really all about, which should be fun. And in further news, I lost half a pound this week and a friend called with the phone number of a rather gorgeous delivery man who was apparently eyeing me up! All in all, top notch day

Yay- go you Colleen. You are clearly having a good run of luck - keep your eyes peeled for £20 notes floating around!!
£3.99 yesterday on a large bottle of Nivea Q10 body lotion -bargain as small (half sized) one is £3.63 -(got to take care of body now that summer is here).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Pointypenguin and everyone else!
It's that time of the week again and this week I would like to declare £4.80 spent. Next week I will have to go for another £5. Not liking this reduced spend of £5 - only a couple more weeks to go then back to £10. :j
Thank you! Have a good weekend everyone! :beer:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Another NSD for me, seing as I've been stuck in work all day! I'll total up tomorrow as I'm not sure what I'll be spending then.
xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
I can't believe it. I've failed at this already - I was mystery shopping today and over spent - thanks to my rubbish mental maths. I will improve on this next week. So I'm in the red by £5.
I hope everyone else is doing better.
I'm in for next week definitely. I'll go for £7.50.0 -
Hey all
Well have had a mini spend today, think my lickle bunny wabbit will be feeling left out over the next few days so bought him some treats. and whilst in town went via cheapy shop to get some cleaning bits.
So £5.22 today so am declaring on £16.62/ £40.
i do include saturdays and i know we are going via the indian takeaway on way back from airport, but should still come in under budget. i could always get H2B to buy me the curry as his homecoming treat to me. :rotfl:
Have a good weekend everyone

It was def half a lb
I'd notice 50p missing more but hey ho, it's all in the right direction! My heart did indeed go all of a flutter, he rang me last night and we spent a couple of hours on the phone chattering away, then another couple of hours texting then he asked if he could ring me again! Finally got to sleep at 3:30am
Well worth it though, he's absolutely divine :heart2:
Anyway, back on topic
I hope everyone has a fab weekend and gets some sunshine to enjoy!
