Thank you, Saz! I know I'm being a bit silly - I haven't gone over my monthly budget (yet) - but I just feel as if fate keeps sticking its feet out for me to fall over at the moment. My NSD challenges were keeping me on the straight and narrow, even though everybody else thinks I'm mad. ("Oooh, no, I can't buy that thing I really need today, even though I've come shopping with you - it's a no-spend-day. I'll come back and get it on Saturday!")

I have to throw myself into these things 100%, or I'm scared I will slip back into my old ways. :o

But you're right - I must look on the bright side. I just got an £80 shoot for £25; it was something we have wanted for ages, not a sudden impulse; as you say, it is something we will treasure forever; and I did find £20 in a car park last week. So perhaps it was all meant to be! :T

That's cheered me up - thank you so much! Here, have a big sloppy kiss... :kisses:

    Aww glad you're feeling better!
I know what you mean about going for it 100% LOL other people think you're nuts but if that's what keeps you on the straight then who cares!
You see you have only really spent £5 cos the rest was sent to you as a gift in the carpark LOL
Besides you need to treat yourself now and again to keep yourself sane, and what better than a gorgeous photo?!

Thanks for the kiss *wipes cheek with sleeve* :D

£3.09 for me today, my stomach was growling when I left my job interview so I went and got a reduced sandwich from tesco (and a diet coke and packet of crisps!). The rest went on a Wispa bar for courage and some tictacs. Hoping to clock in NSDs for the rest of the week, I'm either working or decluttering for the rest of the week!

Hope the interview went well Colleen. Chocolate is practically a necessity in that situation!

£1.45 on lunch and £3.20 on a magazine today. Total so far £4.65.

That's the logic I used :D Interview went ok...I'm normally pretty good at them but this is the first one I've had for full time employment for yeaaaaars, and I really want the job! Hopefully should know by the end of the week :)

Have a good rest of the week everyone :D

Spend today was £1.70 for two bottles of diet coke (one for tomorrow, they we 2 for £1.70). So that leaves me with £5.30.

I'm having coffee with a mate tomorrow (..second meet-up this week :D), so will have to spend a bit then. Hopefully Friday will be a NSD though.

Well I'm please you've got the photo done Debtoxing - you will treasure it, I wish I had a few more, but we never got round to it. You can't roll back the clock, so well done you ;).

Fingers crossed for the job Colleen, I hope you get it!

Ah Debtoxing don't be too hard on yourself. :grouphug: have a dodgy hug, you havent failed, you havent spent hundreds on something incidental or something that's gonna sit in a cupboard or be wasted. It'll be a gorgeous photo and when you have it, you'll cherish it, and you'll realise that it was worth it. (and you had the benefit of come unlucky bugga paying for it for you. :rotfl::rotfl: how do i never just find money!!! my sister found £50 not so long ago )

And look at your sig, how many NSD's last month. Wowwee :T:T

Good luck with the job ColleenPamela, fingers crossed for you. keep us informed.

NSD for me, but will be spending tomorrow, on night shift so need the obligatory cans of coke to get me through. but hopefully will resist the other temptations.

Hooray - I got a dodgy hug! I've always wanted one of those!!! :rotfl:

Thanks to EOT and BeenCounting for your support - I feel much better now that I have "confessed" and nobody has berated me for being so naughty! As far as finding the money went, I had literally moaned to DH about 30 seconds beforehand that my Dad had found a couple of quid at the park and why couldn't that happen to me - and suddenly there's a £20 note sitting on the floor in front of me. It was really quite spooky!
