Hi Budgeteers!
Well, no hassle from my mate, he merrily ate his cheese baguette and chips while I sipped on a coffee. Weather was nice too, so we sat outside - very pleasant
.
So, spend today:
50p for milk for work
£2.00 for lunchtime coffee
50p towards today's PAD
So, £7 left, which hopefully will last the rest of the week.

Less random day for me today. I did buy tea from the canteen (Day from hell) but only one cup which is pretty good. Otherwise I'm all good

I have £16 left in my purse, most of which will go on Ebay postage I think, but I don't really need anything else anyway.
I did buy shoes the other day, but mine had a hole in the toe, and I will pay for them when the bill comes in with the overtime I have done this month, so it's not counted for this challenge.0 -
Today I spent £1.40 on the bus to work I must try harder to get moving in the morning. Also £8.45 on dinner out and £1 on a mini deodourant for my handbag. So all in all quite a pants day, glad everyone else if doing well.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi all, only just found the thread!
Can I please set £5 for the rest of the week? Shouldn't need anything apart from bread and milk. I like to use this challenge as part of my NSD and grocery challenge to limit my spending!

I’VE FAILED!

This is the first time I’ve failed a challenge and I feel really miffed with myself. In the last week I’ve managed to resist joining a local gym with a friend at a knockdown price, and somehow I even managed to deny myself when DH finally decided (after 18 years of not-so-subtle persuasion on my part) that we should get a dog. But temptation was determined to get the better of me this month, and last night I finally gave in.
I have spent £25 on a family photo shoot and photograph for us all. It’s something that we’ve been wanting to do ever since DS2 was born last August, but various illnesses and general MSE stinginess have stopped us from getting round to it. It was supposed to be my birthday present last November! We wanted to have it done while DS2 is still a baby though, so that’s it – I’ve finally signed up for it. But now I feel like a terrible, spendthrift failure.
Why couldn’t that dratted agency have phoned up on Saturday, or let us pay on the day of the shoot?! Then I wouldn’t have failed the weekly challenge!
Well, that’s it from me this week. I’m going to crawl off somewhere in shame and ignominy and hide under a stone. Hope you all do better than me – it won’t be hard! :rotfl:
From a useless, weak, spendthrift IDIOT!!!

Hey Deb don't be so hard on yourself!!! At least it was something that you'll treasure for years to come and not just wine and chocolate LOL! AND at least it was only £25 and not £2000 like some of these shoots are!
You will easily succeed next week don't give up hun, and don't let it spoil your mood every time you look at the picture...make it a happy memory getting your 1st family shoot :-)
