    Morning all

I've just emptied all the change from my purse, so my PAD today is a whopping 85p!!

I'm thinking of changing my target card to A & L which only has a small balance of about £125 (will check later). Although this is just the remains of a MUCH larger balance which I BT'd about six weeks ago. I'm hoping that if I get this card cleared A & L will offer me a 0% BT deal a bit later in the year, which would be a great help.

We seem to have fallen back a bit with unplanned bills eating into the dent we'd made in the debt: had to pay £425 excess for the pleasure of being hit from behind by someone else  an eejit who refuses to pass us his insurance details :mad: , have also just changed energy suppliers, so have the balance of around £200 to pay to previous supplier. Also had to pay up golf subs this week for OH and DS ( yes, I know not very MSE, but in the long run, this definately ends up cheaper than having OH home every weekend wanting to go shopping..!!).

So, all in all it's been very expensive over the last few weeks. I hope I can get this sorted asap. I'm planning to have a mega ebay-fest over the next few weeks to try to make amends ;).

Thanks F-F for the new thread. Well done Sashybo on the new job and everyone else who's knocking off the lbs...I'm trying too. Welcome Newbies!

Ooops, just realised that's a bit of a ramble, sorry!

    Morning lovely Padders!

Phew, just read and clicked 5 pages - you can tell the sun's stopped shining..:D

As I'm neither Scottish or a Geek, please can I join "The Terri and Sarah Cava Club"? I'll bring a bottle later ;)

lemma1968 - yes I felt 10 years older too yesterday, what a difference from last week - I even had the heating on - arghhhh! Think when I'm debt free I'm moving somewhere sunny - (maybe that nice timeshare Andy suggested us buying last week.)

Congrats on the job offer Sashybo! That's great news

Welcome and Hello :hello: SueP19, jwil and Bagpuss (used to love that as a kid - and Mr Benn!) This is the friendliest thread on this site. You'll be addicted in no time.

Hi Beencounting, sorry to hear about being rear-ended, then having to pay! I'm not surprised you're seething. Also, I feel your pain about increasing the debts. That's kind of where I am this week too - fingers crossed next week/month will be better - Ebay's gonna be busy me thinks :D

Ooops almost forgot - little PAD of £1 for me today

Seeya and have a good Sunday, Mac x

Morning everyone and welcome to all the newbies.(Not so) closet geek and major david tennant fan here

Not technically a PAD I dont suppose as its not towards debts, but I've decided to save the £10 left from my weekly budget to go towards my trip to Alton Towers next week so I have a little spending money:o (already have the entrance and petrol money saved)Will buy me an ice cream if its sunny, and a hot drink if its not! And any change is next Sundays PAD sorted :D

    Morning all,

Feel like I've been up all night force feeding Adam...he seems to want an oz an hour..and it takes him an hour to drink the oz  so I stayed up til 1 feeding him a 4oz bottle in the hope that he's sleep well and hopefully settle into some kind of routine (DD was sleeping through by now!) but alas it was all in vain, he still got up for another oz 3 hours later, which took him 40mins to drink! I really don't know where I'm going wrong by I'm going to go and buy new bottle teats (He's already on medium flow so will have to go for fast flow!) so keep your fingers crossed that he'll stary having proper bottles and not an oz an hour!! - I'm sure all you mummy's can understand my frustration!! :D

Anyway, suppose I'd better pad whilst I'm still awake...gonna run and make some coffee soon (I don't really like coffee) or drive to the shop and buy me some red bull :p

Anyway...enought of my sleep deprived ramblings...pad is £10

Just trying to calculate if i can PaD today  I think i will but i need to ensure i don't run out of money cos i don't know when i will get anymore in.

Ok, re the geek thing....i love Ghost Whisperer, i don't think that makes me a geek cos its not really sci-fi.

I dislike Dr Who, I have never seen Star Wars (!), i'm not mad on Star Trek, and i was not a fan of Flash Gordon or Superman.

I'd also like to think i am not boring :p Hum Hum!

    Hi Angelic

I feel for you. DD1 slept through at 5 weeks and we were sooooo smug ("we're just good parents" - or so we thought - WRONG!)

Then DD2 was born - sigh.... a whole other ball game. (I'm not gonna tell you how old she was before she started sleeping though)..but she was Breast Fed, DD1 was on bottle, which I think makes getting into a routine easier.

Also, I sterilised a needle late one night and made an extra hole in the teat :money: !
Good luck, just keep telling yourself "it's not for long" x

Well done to lemma for losing 1/2 lb , sashanut for losing 1/4 lb , Piggin for losing 2 lb WeightLoss.gif ...

LOVE the Garfield FAL; hope to be feeling like him soon :rotfl:BUT last weeks weight loss for me was 3.3/4 lb......confusion has arisen as I was just 1/4 lb UNDER the 12 stone I think ......and as we know; that tiny bit under is VERY IMPORTANT :T every little helps as they say...hope to keep it going this week although fall off the wagon usually on the weekends

Just popping in to PAD for today - was going to do late night posting yesterday; then realised couldn't find my bank cards to phone up & make a payment :eek::eek: luckily found them (in the bathroom, where else:confused:) but too late to make a pmt for Sat. So, today made a PAD of £200 to M&S CC.

Must get out into garden as it is looking like a jungle & so much to do ........I like doing it, but whew don't those weeds grow fast????

Have a good Sunday all, happy PADDing:D
