Angelic I remember it well, lack of sleep is a killer, 18 years later I still wake in the middle of the night for a "paula radcliffe"

Macgirl love that phrase "paula radcliffe" beats "jimmy riddle" any time, hope you made it home

I tried to explain to OH about padding this morning (he wanted to know what I was typing, grrrrrrrr) He scoffed, well he won't be scoffing when I start padding the mortgage in about 3 years time and for the BMW I have always wanted :j

Congratulations on getting rid of barclaycard Angelicmary. No pad yet again for me, need to go shopping tonight luckily i still have quite a bit of money on the clubcard plus.

I think spinning looks like great fun but even 15 minutes on the normal bike kills my donkey so don't think I'd manage a full on spin class no matter how fit I got!

    Hi All

One very pleased Piggin reporting today!

My laptop is now working again and it cost me nothing!:money: This morning I took it back to the shop I bought it from (I phoned them on Thursday) because they do repairs as well, they plugged it in, switched it on and it started first time - woohoo! They think it was probably just a bit of dust in the fans (as it has no battery it just stays in the same place all the time) - so they have hoovered it and I have brought it straight home. I know what to do now if it happens again.

In addition I have weighed myself again this morning and discovered that I have now lost the 2 lbs I put on last week - so very chuffed!

Now onto business....today's PAD is £1.13 to Abominable Amex

No PAD again today. I have applied for the MBNA card so we'll see how that goes. If it's a no then I'll just forget about a balance tranfer and get on with paying the bloody thing off!

I have been being good on the weightloss front though, I had a small bowl of branflakes and a yogurt for brekkie, then went to the gym this morning and did 30 mins cardio, 30 mins weights and 30 mins swimming and am now feeling very virtuous  especially as I did all that before the lazy !!! bf was even out of bed! I'm just doing a bit of work at the minute but needed a break.

Went shopping yesterday and got some nice stuff in the tesco sale - I also tried to buy beer but the b/f got id'd and even tho I had mine they wouldn't sell it to us! till at least it saved a few quid and a few calorie

I'm intending to join all of you PADders from Monday when the long awaited pay day finally arrives. I've had enough of a struggle just getting by from day to day up until now without being able to do a PAD. However, I wanted to ask a question. How do you deal with this - do you put your PAD into a pot and then use it at the end of the month to pay your debt or do you actually make the payment online each day? I'm jsut trying to work out what's best for me. I worry, if I put it in a pot, if I get short at the end of the month I'll dig into it and then, I won't have done my PAD very well at all ... Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Still laughing at that photo - well sort of laughing and grimacing at the same time ... it's just not right is it? :)

£200 from my cleared PPI refund cheque gone to HSBC card today - slight change of tack but decided to try clear my smallest card over next couple of months a) to motivate me and b) to keep for emergencies. I know I should have emergency savings but the way the interest rates are on my cards I just cant justify it and would rather pay more off them in the hope that nothing happens!
