Plenty of curry and excitment might do the trick, having said that one of mine was 2 weeks late.

Just worked through all my credit cards and have transfered just one of the accounts - the Virgin one to Egg. Although Virgin was online the amount they charged in interest was sky high - I was paying just £4 a month against the debt. Although I was charged a transfer fee in the long run this will be by far the cheaper option.

The other cards I will pay the minimum and hack away at the Egg one as it is the higher interest one.

Many thanks for all your advice.

    Will start the PAD tomorrow.

PS My little one went over by 10 days. She was born on the day I was due in hospital for an inducement! I think the fear got her and she finally came out! Good luck LilythePink.

My PAD for today is £1.00

I just wanted to say what an awesome group you are. I know others have said this before but unless you are having a cr*p time like I have just recently, you really don't realise HOW AWESOME you all are :iloveyou:

Update: I spoke to my big boss (ok so I don't confuse you all, Mr R is the main cheese, he owns the company. Mrs E is the office manager, runs everything and Mr D, the kn*b by another name is an employee, his only jurisdiction over me is the work I do for him) I do most of my work for the main man, he is a sweetie, a gem (he trusts me to work on his private investments) always says thank you etc. Over the years we have developed a great relationship and I am sometimes approached by the others to talk to Mr R on their behalf :D Well I had to see Mr R about something and I told him straight out what had happened, only really got a few bits out because after my 2nd sentance about "swanning about" he said WHAT in a very loud voice and that was quickly followed by FOR F**K SAKE !!! :rotfl:I explained that I am not lily white and I am late sometimes etc but I had always made sure I had given more than taken. He just kept saying he knew that and really appreciated it. I told him that this was something I know realise had been building for a long time, little snip here and there. I then told him that I was not prepared to change who I am, that I couldn't, in fact. Anyway he is going to have a word with him. The offender was all smiles with me  I am a very easy going person who will help anyone, forgive anyone but, and its a big but, he did go too far and I have a very very strong sense of justice and fairness, in cases like this I have cut those people from my life, so he will find it more difficult than me in the coming months. I will no longer go the extra mile for him and I will be keeping a record of all the things he says in future and the mannerism with which he says it :mad::mad: Can't you tell I am in fighting mode again, still deeply hurt but fighting.
It is very difficult when you work for a small firm, there is less than 10 of us work there, including the main boss and deputy, its more like a family and we have all worked there for years. We do have blow ups and internal politics is a nightmare sometimes but I really wouldn't want to work for someone else plus there are so many dodgy accountants out there and we do have a reputation to be proud of, which counts for a lot

Anyway i have waffled on for ages again, but I just wanted to say :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls thanks, you are all stars, I thank god every day I found this thread:T
