Well I didn't get to go back to bed...my 2 wee angels both had dirty nappies at the same time...nice!

OH reminded me last night that he owes our joint account £100 and as I'd forgotten all about it I'd already worked out the bills and stuff using the money we've got...so I can pay off Barclaycard in the morning!!! :D

I'm so excited about it as I never could see the light at the end of that loooong tunnel but I'm there now... and it's all thanks to you lovely people :A

I can't wait for tomorrow to come now (to PAY OFF BARCLAYCARD) but my GP phoned earlier, the blood he took from Adam wasn't enough to do the test so we're heading back tomorrow for another jabbing session, so glad Adam won't remember what we put him through in the 1st 2weeks of his life!

I forgot to mention that I'm paying off Barclaycard 4 days early! :D

    O.k I'll stop saying it (by it I mean Paying...only kidding :p)

    Thanks Sarah!!

I'm just so pleased because it's not taken long to pay off, I guess I just needed some proper motivation to do it!

    Hi All

I am back from London, back at work and feeling very tired! Didn't get to bed until 4:30am and then had to be up again at 6:30am to travel back! Managed to sleep on the coach though!

Can't update from home at the moment as I am having computer troubles again - it switches on and then immediately switches itself off again. Very annoying!

Anyway onto business, todays pads are £1.11 to Abhorrent Amazon Halifax and £5.60 (another tube fare) making a total today of £6.71

Oh, and if you do get chance to go to see Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, do so - it is fabulous! Standing ovation last night which, I am told, is unheard for Press Night of a show - with all the critics present!

    Hi everybody :)
Something that has annoyed me today tho... some have you might have read that I've been after a 0% balance transfer card and been declined for 2 of them. Well I got some junk mail today (obviously triggered by my searches) from MBNA offering me a platinum plus card with, yep you guessed it, 0% on BT's till July 2010! I'd never get accepted for that and even if I tried, the card I already have with A&L is MBNA! Idiots, why don't they check these things?!

    Have a good eve everyone!

    xx

Don't know whether anyone else has replied to this as I am replying whilst reading the posts because I didn't want to forget you can have up to five MBNA cards and if you transfer the money into your bank account you can then use it to pay off your A&L card. Also you can transfer card limits from one MBNA card to another ie if you apply for a new card and you get a £3k limit and you already have an empty MBNA card (or one that will be empty when you do the transfer as suggested above) then you can ring the new card provider and ask them to transfer most of your old card limit we left just £800 on the old card to the new card thereby increasing the amount you can balance transfer on the new card. Hope this makes sense it worked for us we had a MBNA platinum used it to pay off virgin by going via the bank and then transferred the virgin limit to the platinum card and made a further BT off another card.

Glad you are feeling better today.
