I'll share DT, I'm not greedy

As much as I love Green's jokes...here's one I'd like to share with you guys!
3 tortoises - Jim, Ray & Geoff go off for a picnic 10miles from where they live. It takes them 5 days to arrive but when they get there they realise that they've forgotten the bottle opener.
Jim & Ray ask Geoff to go back & fetch it but Geoff says 'Fook off, by the time I get back you'll have eaten all the sandwiches'
Jim & Ray promise not to eat the sandwiches so Geoff agrees to go back to fetch the bottle opener.
So 10 days pass & Geoff had not returned, 20 days pass and there was still not sign of Geoff. By this point Jim & Ray were !!!!!!! starving but keep their promise not to eat the sandwiches.
After 25days Jim says 'fook it, we'll starve to death if we don't eat' but as they start to eat the sandwiches, Geoff jumps out from behind & rock and shouts 'I !!!!!!! knew you basta*ds, I ain't going now'

Thanks macgirl n dankosheemo
It's a dental surgery tho so since I had my interview after working hours would have thought they would hav been in touch.
Just feel so useless, my mum n dad are spending all their money of paying back my bills for me and i feel so carp, most girls my age have got their life under control and have at least moved out of their parents house, instead if living there with their OH.
Things always have a way of working out - you just need to have faith in the Universe and it'll all be ok.
If this job is right for you, you'll get it. If not, the right one will be there soon.Wow how profound, adore it:T:T
Danko I can taste it as I look at it :grouphug:
MmmmmMMMM!! Did you bake that yourself Danko?!
Had a really s**t day, got home and I had forgot to get OH a pair of new boots, promptly burst into tears, OH didn't know what had hit him
One of the Accountants has been nasty for 2 weeks now (apperently he doesn't know what I am doing!!! Do I take that to mean that he thinks I am doing nothing) and what with me being ill on Friday, today was a final straw moment. Everyone has taken delight in pointing out how I am doing things wrong, trvial things.....................well its been bl**dy well right for the last 9 years!! I then discovered that a regular email/newsletter (update on Companies act/vat/taxation) is being sent around to all that matter, except me!!! Aaaarggggggggghhhhh
Soz just sounding off..................ta for listening
Sorry you're having a bad time of it Sue.....You're right, there is a bit going round - is it a full moon?!
Seriously though, give yourself a break (no cake though;)). Maybe feet up with a magazineAlways works for me

Well I'm padding an extra £100 + £100 DD to Goldfish = £200 today! This to get my EGG card back to what it is on my sig
I used it for my holiday and couldn't bare the shame of increasing my sig again. That definately is it now, so we should see a downwards movement from now on....0 -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MACGIRL FOR TMMRW!!:j Congratulations! That's brilliant news! :j
You must be dead chuffed? Informal lunches hey, must be a nack!
LOL - don't worry - you wouldn't be the only/ first person to worry about writing their resignation! I've had two people in two days! I've been leaving my job since January and had to give 3 months notice so the 1st May I set to it! Worried as well! :rotfl:
I'd keep it short. Confirm that you wish to resign, your last working date where you can and perhaps fluff it up with a thank you for their support over the last 9 years. If you put anything boardering "negative" your HR people would ask whether you would like to raise a grievance etc (to avoid any potential claims against the Company!). I've seen all sorts in my time so I'm sure you'll be fiiine!
You must be so excited! Did you clinch the salary and benefits you wanted too?
