Morning all!
Having a !!!!py day. Started with an argument with the OH. Have now calmed down from that, but, as my emotions are all over the place I'm now missing my friends and family terribly today!
At least I get to leave early and have a BBQ with my work friends. I'm even been taken out on a boat!Lucky me. I have something to look forward to.
I sorted things with the OH, I just get so frustrated with him sometimes. He's dreadfully shy at times, and, as he can't leave work early for the boat ride, he doesn't want to come tonight. He'd have to make his own way there, and it would be around 7ish by the time he joined us (we're leaving the office at 4pm). I can understand where he's coming from, and I do try to be patient, but this is really important to me. These friends have been so supportive and helpful from day one, translating stuff for me, listening to me, helping me, etc etc, and they really want to meet my OH. I feel like he's throwing it back in their faces.
I know there'll be other times, but I also know that if he could just get over that initial fear of being in a new crowd of people, he'd really enjoy himself. He always does. I also hate the thought of him missing out on so much because of it. It's not like we're out every night, or even every week!
Ho hum, his choice I spose.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Sorry to disappoint you last night Mac:o
I am about to restart PAdding :j but only small payments I am afraid I am going to have to spend quite a bit on the house out here - repainting outside, new curtains, new patio furniture to get it to a standard I am happy to rent it out so until I see how much that is going to cost I am going to have to be careful also prices are very expensive here.
Also I have paid my tax bills now I was hoping that they would work out the correct amount that I owed but they haven't as yet so I have had to pay whats due and wait for a refund
So my first PAD for weeks is £8.69 to the pay off 0% cards fund first one is due in October but I may BT that one and concentrate on reducing MBNA which is due in December as that is a large balance and at the moment I would need more than one card to BT it to.
Hope everyone has a great day.
I have a cold:p

Hi All
Newbie here :-)
£5 for me today please.
That's £1 to Tesco CC, £2 to Cap1 and £2 to sealed jar.
When you pay a small amount a day to a credit card for example, do you actually pay it to them or save it til you have £10 say and then pay it - I have paid them direct as I risk spending it otherwise!
Thanks for the advice.

Welcome to the mad wonderful world of PAD
How you make your payments is entirely up to you but if you are paying interest on your cards the sooner you make a payment the better also it is nice to get a long statement with payments made rather than spends :j
Warning though it is addictive :rotfl:which is good for your debts :j
