Why is your arm itching? Did you get bitten or allergic reaction etc?
I get bitten by mossies all the time here and I'm allergic to them. Sooo itchy! lol
The other night, I sprayed the bed covers with extra strong stuff before going to bed, we had an anti mossie plug in, the windows and doors all closed......I still got bit! Argghhhh.
Gonna have to invest in a mossie net I think!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Evening All,
PaD for me today of £1. It's a small amount today but it does represent the first transfer into my new savings account. It has safely arrived so I will be squirrelling dosh away into this account until I meet my target (sig to be updated once I have made up my mind on the actual amount).
Paul, the double offer is as good as it seems (insider knowledge) and at least you know you can continue to transfer at the LOB rate without affecting it. It's about the only time a negative payment hierarchy can be useful!

Distract me please fellow Padders - I'm giving up smoking today, not too bad going but I need some random distraction please. Can't post on the NS thread as its reminding me!!
Paul - glad to see the CC dilemia didn't turn out tooo bad in the end. I would have done the same in your position. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

.
Distraction is good. I posted up here lots when I gave up, June 1st and still going strong! YOU CAN DO IT!! A good distraction is every time you get a craving then work out cash saved by not smoking for one day, one month, six months etc....motivation for PADs...! E.g your sig, if you're a twenty a day person that will take less than 50 days to clear. Going somewhere where smoking is not allowed also worked for me (museum, cinema, even the tube....just not the pub in the first week, too tempting, although I'm back in there now)Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D

Yes I'm sure it is just fine. It took me half a minute to get my head around what the guy was saying but it made perfect sense. If I had had my wits about me, I could also have done this with a Halifax BT some time back as they were offering a choice of deals too.
Come to think of it, it may not have worked out so well with Halifax as they reduced the minimum payment to 1% shortly after my BT - though I could have topped up with additional payments I suppose. Having to only pay 1% per month to Halifax really does bring that one down very slowly but it was, and still is, a welcome reprieve. My debt levels are still far too high. Although I am getting by a bit better now, it only takes one small thing to go wrong to be struggling again for several weeks.0 -
