Hi all, just 50p to Barclaycard today - hoping to clear it within a week or two. :j Will prob then do a balance transfer from OH's Capital One card if they let me as it's a ridiculous interest rate.
Macgirl I can relate to either wanting to spend to reward myself or things going horribly wrong and a huge bill appearing - we are rubbish at budgeting! I do try but our bills are ridiculously high and it gets so depressing. I'm still trying though - even 50p a day has made a difference.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Thanks Sashybo - we just have to keep going.
If anyone's seen "Finding Nemo" (like me - about 5000 times!), in the words of Dory "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, swimming, what can we do but swim, swim, swim"
Bonkers I know - but kind of apt!0 -

Not only did you do enough to make me very happy but I hope you also made yourselves very happy - this is a stunning idea thanks Emily and we all know it works - and that each little bit mounts up and makes a big difference.
Mac I am sure that the act of totalling up will keep you on track this month I know it did for me even though I was not able to PAD. I will be boosting your totals a bit this month once my cheque clears and I am sure you will have a brill month and whats more you will enjoy it - I had a great time the folks on here are wonderful, funny, lovely people :A

Hi All,
What a splendiferous total for July (not sure it's a word but all the other ones seem to have been used already). Huge thanks for your totting up DT!
And arise macgirl who has taken on the responsibility.
Another £1 PaD for me today. I have been to the bank to pay in a couple of cheques and some coins but I don't like to count them until I can see that they're actually in my account on online banking. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday for them to show.0 -
