Another £40 paid off my Cap1 card, so £185 left on that now + whatever they charge next week. Will be gone by next month at the latest and then I can start targeting the £1495 balance on my MBNA card even more0

A nice £10 Pad to the Evil monument card - used the £10 I made delivering flowers - must get the balance and add it to my signature so I can see it going down0

Sue, how on earth is Ryvita worse than bread??? It's only about 35 cals for one slice thing? I've eaten it for lunches the whole time I've been losing weight, don't tell me it's actually bad for me? Aargh!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

Hi All,
Finally received a response from A&L this morning, offering a totall of GBP 385.20 in respect of my PPI complaint with them.
Now, this relates to my 'renewed' loan with them in 2007. It was quickly paid off and replaced by another loan (yeah, yeah, bad choices on my part). From what I can see, the calculation is correct - contains return of premiums, rebate recalculation (early settlement mis-calculation) and the standard 8% interest up to 31 July 2009.
All great!
But...I don't know what to do now. I had loans with them prior to this period, also with PPI. I thought that this would all be calculated together, but they are obviously trying to avoid that. So.....if I accept this offer, in relation to the 'renewed' loan (as from 2007 only), would I still be able to put a claim in for the previous loans and PPI I had with them? (I have posted this question on the PPI discussion thread - but am just pleased to see a response from them other than 'we are looking into it....blah blah blah').
I want to double check before I accept the offer. Although, am greatly looking forward to applying this amount to my Virgin CC as a PAD. I need to get rid of that high interest b*&^%$d as quickly as possible!
Have a good day all!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
My pad for today is £4.50. So current account is down to just £1! Not been that low in a very long time but hey if you dont have it you wont spend it.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Hi all, another 50p to Barclaycard today.
Just looked at our joint account and am suitably horrified - we are £700 into the O/D. :eek:In a total mess and I'm only getting two weeks wages tomorrow (minus emergency tax ). We just can't seem to get out of the overdraft and have bills coming out at funny times of the month which totally screws us. Can't believe we are back in the same position again.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0
