And the best bit is that most of the money will be going towards savings, rather than debt :TDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
OMG - I have been reworking my spreadsheet and have calculated that of my miniscule wedding fund, 40% has come from PaDs!!! So a really HUGE thank you to you guys and gals for keeping me focussed!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

AAARRRGGG - I've been underpaid by £300!!!!, so PAD's on hold until I get that sorted. Currently each department is blaming each other - shocking
Will add up my penny jar and PAD that onto my monument card me thinks.0 -
Evening all.
DT - I need to post for Tuesday now as I am unlikely to be logging in, going to the races with work (paid for, I am so lucky!)
I have switched my signature targets around and going to pad some hols savings as well as attacking the Cap1. I am still going to go for a clearing date of end September for the ditry Capital One but having the "amount per day" is not helping me - just makes me panic when it goes up. LOL. The holiday target will be a nice motivator...I need one this year, so what if the Cap1 stays for another month even, the holiday won't be on credit (believe me it would have been in 2008, and 07 and 06....he he)
Tuesday PAD of £150 - £100 savings and £50 Cap1
Happy birthday to my birthday twin Silaqui for tomorrow!! (The Saw ride is well worth the trip IMO. Scary build up and the vertical drop is fantastic. It's s nice rollercoaster though, feel very safe. I'm a huge fan of the old ones that knock you about a bit - corkscrew style - and you fall out of the seat a little bit - much scarier!)Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D

 I'm annoyed! Getting emergency tax on my pay for this month in my new job and I'm only being paid for two weeks! The thing is I gave them my P45 and have still been shoved onto emergency tax. So now I'm getting £100 less than I should and I could just cry because we are really going to struggle now.
Sorry just had to have a rant and I'm in the house on my own.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Sorry just had to have a rant and I'm in the house on my own.Oow sashybo, never nice to see that in your first pay packet but don't worry, you'll get it back as a rebate, possibly next month. It's all dependent on when your payroll is processed i.e. when did payroll receive your P45 (after the run date?) and it usually takes a couple of weeks for the tax office to catch up on the documentation. But you will get it back

Thanks Andy! And ** Happy Birthday!!! ** to you too (for tomorrow of course)! Glad you enjoyed Thorpe Park, agree about the coasters again, I love the old rickety wooden ones at Blackpool too
Well it looks like I'm not going to Italy after all, we had a look and it's just going to be too expensive. I'm secretly pleased as I don't cope well with heat, and it leaves me more money for padding :A although a getaway would have been nice!
The b/f has been mentioning going to see Bill Bailey in Nottingham at the weekend for my birthday, I do like BB but the only problem is it's nearly £30 each for the tickets and I never feel like I can justify that for something like that which will be out on DVD sooner or later anyway, it's not like a concert is it, comedy is funny whether on telly or live. I dunno, have to decide at some point though.
Dilemma!!
