As my business is in a few directories, I seem to get a lot of unwanted telesales calls - even though all three of my numbers are registered with the TPS.
I have to answer them as it may be a new customer calling.
Some of them try to sound like a potential customer at first. As soon as it becomes apparent that it's telesales I immediately ask "What are you selling?". They tell me. I say no thanks and hang up. Very irritating as my phone is usually on divert to my mobile and sometimes I've pulled over in my van to take a call. Sometimes I've even just cut the connection if it's very obvious straight away that it's telesales.

Yes my angel. Little by little. It's going down fast this month as I'm focussing on paying my tax bill before 31/7.
I've not been paying too much above minimum payments a fair bit of the time but the two tricks are that I now have reasonable LOB deals on most of my debts and that I don't use my credit cards (would do in a dire emergency only). The only time I've used a card since late January was for two cinema tickets. It was just a convenience thing andI paid them back before incurring interest.
