I think they've just been so persistent because they thought we were in denial - I told the NN to go ack to the HV and tell her to p*ss off! I was furious to find out that they've been avoiding us! We're drowing in leaflets that we've not read and phone numbers that have been put away just because I want my wee boy to be a baby before he becomes 'special needs' - if that makes any sense!

What you say makes tonnes of sense. I would feel the same. If they keep 'harrassing' you about these groups, perhaps it's worth putting your views in writing and sending it to the team manager. They are causing unnecessary stress and frustration. Enjoy your baby and burger the rest of 'em!

Mmmm wine is good. Don't worry Silaqui, I've got another bottle of Shiraz in the kitchen but i'll behave and save that one :rotfl: The more the merrier! Oo with DT's cakes.... :rolleyes: :rotfl: But cheese and wine is ALWAYS a great combination omnomnomnom. I love cheese... but you've got plenty of time for the 9lbs!

Can you get one of those super passes for Alton Towers? Saves on the queues.Though the buying of drinks always sounds like a good plan at the time... :rolleyes: Hope you have a fab time whatever you do

haven't read all the pages i've missed (about 50!!) but thinking of you & adam & your family, angelic. sounds like you're doing fine and everyone else has a problem from the little bit i've read today! xxx

I posted a letter to the consultant that wrote to us telling her how we fell so hopefully at least she'll lay off! The HV is the team manager and she didn't listen!

Been at it again with the nursery nurse that's been visiting!

To cut a long story short, I told her, again, that we've not been accepting help as we don't think it's necessary (que the discussion on that letter we received last week, special playgroup & my bl**dy feelings - I wish they'd stop bl**dy asking how I feel :mad:) due to Adam's age and she told me that 'they've' been discussing us (no great surprise there though) and it turns out that some of 'them' think that we're in denial as we've not been showing any sign of budging on the matter :mad:

OH piped up that we can't be in denial as we don't know that there's going to be any major issues that we're denying - that had her stumped!!

The nursery nurse is such a nice woman and I didn't want to have a go at her as the health visitor told her to ask us, again, if we needed any help - she also told me that the other nursery nurses have been trying to avoid coming round which is why we've only been seeing her so far - I was gobsmacked!!

Hope you get everything sorted with all the faff. Some people just don't know when they've been told. Cheeky !!!!!!s for even thinking that you or anyone for that matter are not bonding with their child! It baffles. Hope everything gets sorted angelic. You know we're all here to help and support where we can

I don't want to keeping whinging and moaning but one way or another they annoy me everytime I see them!

Hope you have a fab time on your hols I'm muchos jealous! Direct flights just make the whole holiday thing less stressful too. I always love going to the US, Chicago in particular. Plans for after graduation next year me thinks!

If you need any work doing then OHs dad has his own business doing kitchens, bathrooms, heating etc so if you need a hand then just lemme know

Thnaks on the WL lovely words. Divorce tomorrow, hit my stone next week, lottery win followed by Rossi winning the Moto GP race in Germany - Tiffany diamonds too would be nice but I ain't pushing my luck! :rotfl:

Hopefuly now you have sent that letter they will give a bit of breathing space!
