Hi everyone, hope there is room for a little one :D Sarah directed me over to you. Believe it or not I joined on the first thread (last post 28.8.08) but it fell to the side pretty rapidly! However I am back with loads of enthusiasm. I am not in debt (as such) so all my PAD's will be going into my isa savings. So far (only started yesterday) I have payed in £4.02 and today I am putting in £2.79 :j I aim to put at least £1 a day in :T

Thanks for all your support guys, you seem like a wonderful bunch of dfw's _luv__by_DruEmotes.gif

Edit ~ Oh btw I am known as Pap around mse, saves you writing my whole name :rotfl:

Hi again all. Tablets and rest finally seem to have done the trick so will be back to work tomorrow.

    Welcome Postingalways... !!

Thanks for the totals again DT - I think July is gonna be a record breaker!

I have just been doing some internet shopping for new work shirts, and total was fifteen squid less than budget on the funky exel spreadsheet, so £15 additional PAD from me. Woo-hoo.

WELL DONE on being smoke free FunkyMonkey! I stopped June 1st - you can do it. This thread was super supportive as always. Using my savings for PAD but make sure you also use some to treat yourself - big motivator-even if its just some DVDs or a meal out. Just think, only 4 days not smoking is a meal for two with one of those vouchers.

Ahhh yes, the ever evil cigarettes. I too quit, on 31st January when I left the country.

All my friends in the UK smoke, none of my friends here smoke. So, it's easier not to smoke here. I don't think about it as much.

I was weak in June though when I went home for a visit. But, I didn't enjoy it and immediately gave up.

Hoping to go to Abu Dhabi later this year and stay with my uncle. If he'll have us, of course! lol It is the only way we can afford a holiday there, so if he says no then we will simply go elsewhere.

God, I have been so busy at work lately and running round like a crazy person today. I am TIRED!

Another 29 mins to go and I can go home and eat curry (the OH is treating me :) ).

    Tick......tock.......

Hi PAP - welcome aboard :hello: Good luck with your savings.

Frasersmum - hope Fraser's swelling goes down soon. Sounds like he did well just to cope with the hospital, new people etc. Did the park cheer him up?

Well done from me too Funkymonkey on the no smoking front no_smoking.jpg

Euro - glad you got the charge sorted. Sometimes it pays to make a quick phone call and be a little persistent ;)

    £2 cap 1

    TOTAL PaD £2

I have noticed i'm a little obsessive about always writing my PaDs in the same way, but i can't help it. I'm just a bit funny like that :o:D

DT - thanks for the totals, there's been some crackers! Your calculator will be on fire! Or are you a fancy spreadsheet kinda gal? :p
