Hello all. CRAZY week at work so not had chance to catch up properly. Some great news on the debt-busting though. Well done all.
Gutted there is no Murray vs Federer final. Also massively overspent watching the match in the pub yesterday, not cos I got p*ssed just cos it was so damn hot. Booo. And had to buy a new work suit as current two are both getting to the end of their shelf life at the same time. Grrr. Never mind, will re-jit the spreadsheets on Monday.
Pimms litre bottles are £10 down from £18 in Sainsburys if anyone fancies a posh treat !! I just got one as I am off to a mini tennis party at a mates tomorrow to watch on their 50in TV!
Today my PAD is £10.07 to Cap1.
Thanks for the totals DT - cracking one yesterday.Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D

I really don't know why, they react really badly if you say no. The hospital went on and on for years about this group for us and in the end I lost my temper. DD has a infrequent fits but they last forever....................3 hours was the longest. I just couldn't see the point I had read everything about it and I just didn't want her to see the condition at its worst. I really could not see why I needed support, which shocked the bejesus out of them. I know my DD has faced very few problems compared to other medical conditions but these groups should be for if/when a parent needs support not a mandatory requirement.
I had many a blue with the hospital not just weight, up until she was 12 I carried rectal diazepan (have admin'd it a few times) but not really nice to do on a 12 year old, so they gave me medazalin to syring into her mouth, quite easy not rocket science BUT the "social worker" was well p**d off that I didn't have a training session with her and on my next hosptial visit she comandeered the appointment and destroyed the relationship I had with the specialist. Her partling words were "well it is more convenient for a busy parent to have a child doped up"!!!!!! The result was we had to fight to prove DD had epilepsy and load of tests ensued where they were so rude that in the end I shut my mouth, the tester conceded in the end and asked for my help, at the end of the tests I said to her why she was horrible at the beggining and found that she had been told that DD didn't have EP and that I was a controling mother who wanted a quite life!!!! Finally a top specialist in Sheffield was consulted and he said no way was she to come off medication. DD has just reached 18 and we have been transferred to the adult clinic, am dreading it.
So for those that have babes with medical conditions I would say, you fight for what YOU think is right :T not what they want.Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
Hello everybody!
I am pleased to say that the marking is over :j and any extra I do now optional for a small fee per question - I'll see how I feel on Monday I think
Cashless Wonder – I saw that Public Enemies thing and thought exactly the same thing, it was awful and soooo long, but the b/f was loving it so I went for a wander round the cinema, came back and I couldn’t tell I’d missed anything. The girl in it looked like Katy Perry, did you think?
I won't be around to post tomorrow I don't think so I'll make my PAD in advance today just in case. PAD for Saturday is £3.91 and for Sunday is £1.57.
Have a good day everyone, I'm off to clean the bathroom - fun fun fun!

Well I am glad I have joined now as I have come back from the doctors this morning to be told that I have to lose 3 1/2 stone  not 2 like I thought as it is affecting my health, not drastically just making me feel .... yucky I guess lol!
So I may be very moody as I will have to give up on my favourite things like chocolate lol!
Made a PaD of £150 into my savings account and I joined up for a couple of cashback sites and online surveys so hopefully I will still have a little bit of pocket money if I don't find another job .
Off to tidy my (destroyed) bedroom and see if I can find some stuff to sell on Ebay.
Have a lovely Saturday everyone!!
:hello:

Angelic: I hear ya on the support group thing.
My eldest has a few "issues" (like you Sue P I had to carry rectal hydrocortisone for years and then intramuscular syringe and vial of hydrocortisone so I know what its like) anyways they push these groups so much sometimes and I think most of the reason is to cover their backs.
I know its not pleasant being kind of ushered to them but I imagine if someone else was in your position and wanted help that they didnt have access to the backlash would be awful.
I guess theyre just trying to make sure their paperwork shows what a fab job theyre doing supporting people when they dont really see how theyre grinding parents down if that makes sense?
I think the way forward is to just think about it and if you definitely dont want to go then be firm and stand your ground, theyll get the message sooner or later
Big hugs to you and Aaron, Hows your daughter coping being a big sis?
Ive got two young boys 2y and 9m and I cant leave them for a second, eldest ds keeps trying to feed baby by jamming a spoon down his throat:rotfl:
Kids eh?

Hi All
Hope everyone is having a good Saturday. I have been home alone today so I have taking advantage of a rare opportunity to go and have a mooch round the shops - charity shops, TK Maxx, Matalan etc. I have treated myself to a few new clothes and managed to get myself quite a few nice things and they only cost £25 altogether - not bad eh?
Haven't had chance to have a catch up on this thread yet - something I shall try to put right over the weekend.
