How inconsiderate of you :rotfl:
:rotfl:My bad! I think she thought that I'd be on my knees crying by now!
She took out her notes from her 1st visit and started asking all these questions about things I'd said to her on her 1st visit...She was outraged that my opinion of alot of things hadn't changed (i.e people being funny around us and old friends suddenly appearing out of no-where to 'see how we're doing')...I'd said that people were being more nosey than friendly but she told me I was over sensitive(grassed her up to my fave GP who gave her a row though :rotfl:) What the fu*k does she know about my 'friends'??

We had a visit from health visitor this morning and she has a real problem with us not wanting to get involved with a specialist just now...in fact, she's got a real problem with Adam! I'm not being over-sensitive or anything but she was really surprised that he was looking around!! I just said well, he is a baby and that's what what's babies do is it not? She seems determined to single to him from other babies and is kinda annoyed that I won't let her
She was also quite annoyed that I don't have post natal depression :rotfl:

She doesn't know who she's dealing with does she?!!
You should have told her you're feeding him IRN BRU and he couldn't get it through the teat, so you just stabbed a fork through it to make the hole bigger!
Really give her something to worry about :rotfl:
Good for you Angelic - Adam will grow up smart and well balanced with such a feisty Mum fighting his corner. He's a lucky lad :T0 -

Hi everyone,
I am just making a quick post as I have so much marking to do, the deadline for it all is the 5th July and I don't receive my bonus if I don't finish by this date so I need to get cracking!
For DT- a PAD of £4.67 for me today, and to dankosheemo, I'm afraid I probably won't be able to give you a weigh in figure this week as I haven't got the time to go to the gym and I don't have any scales at home. I've been a bit naughty though so I reckon I will have put on, just as well I'm not weighing!
Have a good evening everyone, keep cool!
xxNo problemo Silaqui! I'll just count you as staying the same:rolleyes:
Good luck with the marking! Hope you manage to get it all done for le moonay!

It was Baskin Robbins rum and raisin but I only had one scoop normally it would have been a 3 scoop sundae with choc sauce cream and cherries that's what I mean about being bad but not that badI don't feel I deserve 4lb on my weight has been really abnormal recently and I have just had a horrible thought am I menopausal:eek: off to check symptoms can't be anything else medical because I have recently had my annual blood tests done eek I suddenly feel very old.
DTxx
Oh God just found this
"Weight gain at menopause is believed to result from a natural slowing of your body’s metabolism, and this is also associated with aging and a change in lifestyle".
I refuse to accept this I am not going to put on weight I am too big already I have to do something. The strange thing is that I am sure it is all going on in one area as my T-shirts are getting shorter at the front IYKWIM and I am already over endowed in that area!!!0 -
Hi all, pad today of £28.45 as Quidco and click money came through. :j Also cashing a cheque from Global Test Market today so there will be more to pad off the Barclaycard soon.
Good news - I finally have a start date for my new job - 13th July. :T Bad news is that only leaves 11 days notice to my current employers and I'm a bit worried about handing in my notice and telling them - they won't be happy. The HR ladies are dragons and I'm going to get toasted. (No offence Danko as I gather you are an HR lady :rotfl:).
Also the Cat Lair is due next week and I'm excited. :jGreat news on the job start date sashyboWouldn't worry too much about handing your notice in. There isn't a great deal the Company can do unless they want to take you to court for breach of contract but it takes so long and not usually worth them chasing. I'm sure if you catch up with your manager and talk it through - of course they'll be disappointed you're leaving them and they're going to be using a valuable member of the team
but I'm sure they'll be OK
You could always negotiate a leave and start date if things get tricky perhaps postponing it by a week with your new employer but don't worry too much
(Maybe tell them just before hometime tomorrow...
)
We have 3 month notice period in our place so we always have difficulty with getting people to work such a long notice period. I've been leaving since January!! :rotfl: 7 weeks tomorrow to go... :j
Exciting news on the cat lair!
Hope all goes OKio

I've been telling everyone for nearly 6weeks now that he's just a baby and he shouldn't be made to be poked and prodded by specialists cause there's no need for it...her response was that they'd be looking to check things like muscle tone and if wasn't good enough then they'd refer him to physio..I said well if his muscle tone wasn't good enough then shouldn't you be able to spot that? I don't think she really had an answer so she asked me to take his vest and nappy off to get him weighed and he pi**ed all over her scales :rotfl:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Talking of being a Mum. I picked up my 5 year old from After-School club today and she'd been pushed over in the playground by a bigger boy and "sent flying" in the words of the staff.
She had a huge lump on her head, which was grazed and a red graze under her eyebrow and down her cheek. She's so small for her age and what made it worse was that she didn't even cry!
Today's the first time I've felt that I can't always protect her and felt powerless...:(0
