Where do they fly to in Russia?0

I'm quite a regular BMI flyer and use their miles quite a lot. Just be warned that you have to book them a long, long time in advance to get the flights you want.0

They don't fly to Russia or Prague according to their site?0

Hi folks,
As explained in other threads - i've now put a link to the BMI reward scheme page in the article. 20,000 miles is enough to get you a return trip to zone 2 with BMI AND its Star Alliance partners, which is how you get to Russia and TurkeyMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

I suggest for info on how to spend BMI / Star Alliance miles and their benefits you have a look at Flyertalk and their great forums."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

Strangely enough, news reports from yesterday indicate that BMI is indeed about to start a service to Moscow.

Unless you book a business class/Premium economy ticket. I've never had a problem booking these a week before.0 -
Hi there, I am new to this forum but have been made aware of the recent offer of 20,000 air miles MBNA were giving on their BMI classic card. My partner and I have both applied and received the cards. When I called to activate them I was told that the air miles will only be added to my account after I have made my first purchase, which i can understand. They then went on to tell me that it will take up to 20 days from the intital purchase for the miles to be added to my account! Can anyone let me know if this is correct? We are hoping to fly to Russia in the middle of July for a friends wedding and feel this may be cutting it a little too fine if it takes another 20 days before we can book our tickets as availability will no doubt be poor by then. If this is the case we may well have to book full price tickets after all!
Many Thanks
Leba0
