It means they've requested CCAs on 6 accounts, in the hope that the CCA is invalid, and so unenforceable.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430

Hola!
Ho-hum - it was one year ago today that I had my 'lightbulb' moment. That awful, sicky feeling when you realise these bills represent real money and you are responsible for repaying them-however they were acquired.
Still trudging on and I think the tide might have turned a little. I have been defaulted on one of my debts so the interest stopped there. I believe at last the total might have started to diminish slightly. However difficult I know now it was the right thing to do.
I think one the most valuble lessons I have learnt is to 'squirrel' away any excess money you can to cover the unexpected. My emergency fund is just £10-00 per month (not nearly enough to cover just the maintenance of an old car.) I have already spent £260-00 at the dentist this year when my budget allows for only £3-00 per month for dental/optical (not nearly enough to cover the maintenance of an old body!)
Hope all are keeping well and things are running smoothly for you.

Hello all
I have had two more letters that I need to speak to CCCS about on Monday. One from Tesco asking for SOA and an explanation of why I am in debt. Assume CCCS will tell me that they will send the letter. The other was from MBNA, agreeing to drop interest from 30% to 8.9% and to suspend late charges this all being subject to periodic review. Two snags with the letter, 1) asks for payment by the 12th and if they don't get by then they will cease the programme. I have seen this in posts before and CCCS usually say it will be ok so keeping my fingers crossed. 2) They say they are going to report the arrangement with credit reference agencies for upto six years after the balance has been settled in full. - does anyone have any information on this guys? I thought they had to issue a default and it was 6 years from that being issued, not 6 years after final clearance. Not that I ever want credit in future but would like to shop for a better mortgage rate in a few years time. Advice please!

I reckon them pesky DMP people are all swanning around in Cuba, Barbados or the like.:D Unable to fly home because because of the volanic ash -which like the output of life just dumps a load of c**p on some of us
Take care all

Still wrestling with Citibank and Look again. Phoning every 2-3 days asking for payment, both of them playing the "we haven't received the doumentation from CCCS" game.
No problem, we'll send it again...and again...and again0 -
They must think we're stupid. I have the same with LTSB and HFC Bank. They don't phone as much as yours do but its still the same old same old 'we haven't received info/payment from cccs':mad:DeeBee0

Hey think yourself lucky, Halifax have been playing the same silly game with me since February and they call me at least twice a day every day and send text messages to my mobile phone to.
I've give up re sending the info now, I just carry on making my payments as the cost of sending these documents special delivery is better spent on another debt.DMP mutual support thread member:3270 -
