If you want a better rate for your £'s only change what you think you will need before you get to Poland. Monday i got 4.60 Zloty's to the £ from the Post Office, when you are there ( i was in Krakow) you get 5.18 Zloty'd to the pound sometimes less just check around and that was just off the main square.

Definintely wait until you get to Poland.
Every Polish town and city are littered with foreign exchange kiosks called "kantors". They usually offer the best rates around but be vigilant and always make sure you know exactly how much you're going to get.
Another tip is to avoid kantors in the centre of tourist areas as they don't offer the best rates. No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30
