well following the advice from people on here, after changing the black ink on my printer with an ink refill kit and it now printing out in purple (when it should be black), people advised me to clean the printer head, i researched how to do this and i had to have the printer installed on my computer (not just connect the wire up and print) so i evenutally found the cd, went to install it, only to find it is NOT compatable with windows vista!?!?
So now i cannot clean the print head and therefore cannot work out how to stop it printing in purple and can therefore not print ANY coupons!!!!!!
So i presume i am now going to have to buy a new printer, can anyone recommend a cheap one for mainly printing coupons??

Hi vc

my son has re installed windows and installed the printer etc on to an old hard drive. He then used the file on your latest rapidshare, then went to couponnet and it then asked for the coupon printer, he pressed download again and used the new file and it worked perfectly, he was able to print using firefox and internet explorer.

Now he will take the old hard drive out again and refit the proper one.

I think I have broke my laptop :eek: installed Mozilla, taken it off 5 times, found I had 5 couponnets installed even though I took them off!!!

It is soooooo frustrating!!!!

Well done to VC and Couponwoman, you are doing great stuff trying to get this sorted for us all :A

sorry to contradict the advice that someone gave you before....but, if you have refilled your cartridge, and it is printing silly colours, I would presume it is one of the composite cartridges (all the colours in one cartridge)...would I be right.....if so, all that has happened is you have over-filled the black compartment, and it has leaked into one of the others.... take it out, and either empty the compartments, wash out and re-fill, or put a new cartridge in
what printer is it...(make and model)...I'm sure there's a driver out there:beer:

Have you checked on the manufacturers website to see if there is a driver you can download for Vista? Unless it is a really old printer then there more than likely will be one.

The printed has two cartridges, one of which is a colour cartridge and one which is just black and since we've replaced just the black ink (not the cartridge) its now started printing in purple (when it is supposed to be black) is that because its using the purple out of the colours cartridge or is there a fault with the black cartridge??
