Ebay or Shop best to buy a phone charger

Hi,

I don't really know much about mobile phones but I need to get a phone charger.
I phoned 02 to ask how much a phone charger was for a Samsung D600 £19.99.

On ebay there are some for £3.99 brand new...

Does anyone know why the re is a big difference...

Because its probably an OEM which means original equipment manafacturer. The ones on ebay are usally the same but can be manfactured by another company. Usally there is a big mark up on chargers etc. as companies rip consumers off as unwitting people buy from the shop instead of online. The online traders usally have no overheads i.e shop business tax etc... I would make sure it's an OEM when you buy off ebay.

    Thanks for you reply.

I will check before buying. If I cannot see a OEM one on ebay I will get one from the shop.
I have told my daughter to keep this one in her locked cupboard so it cannot be taken.

    Thanks :j

  • I have bought mobile phone chargers from Ebay without any problems for less then a fiver delivered. They were in their original packing, boxed and sealed new.
