Single post hyperlink

I can put in a hyperlink to another thread but how do I just get it to show one post?

If you click on the post number in the top right hand corner the single post opens in a new window and then you get an url for the single post.

Each post has a number (top right corner) click on it and it will open a post in its own window...

Copy the link addy for that new page, hyperlink it into another post.

LOL, Just re-read your post, not a clue if this is what you are asking for...?

You can also hover over the link of the post in the top-right corner and note down the post number. The link is something like http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=1859070&postcount=4, so you need the part after p= so for this post the post number is 1859070

You can then in your post where you want to link to the other post you type [ post] then the post number from earlier then [/ post] (but without the spaces between the [ and p or / and p )

So I can do [post]1859070[/post] and that should make a link to that post. It also maeans when you hover over it people can see the title easily.
