    If it's a business seller they have to accept returns for any reason under the DSR. I think that they are allowed to charge a restocking fee if this is stated in their T&Cs and the item is returned just because you don't want it.

    If it's a private seller then they are not obliged to accept returns at all, other than on ebay if an item is "significantly not as described". This sounds like a case where you just don't like the item, but if you do decide to proceed with a claim against the seller you'll be glad to know that Paypal will almost certainly side with you whether you are in the wrong or not. You will however have to pay to return it at your cost.

    When you buy online you don't get a chance to examine your purchases, which is particularly important when buying things like clothes. Not something I would purchase on the basis of a few pictures on a web site myself.
