My O2 contract up for renewal, do i want the iphone?

Hi all,

My O2 contract is up for renewal, i currently get:

£35 = 750mins & txts-all roll over, any time, any network

Have been wondering about an iphone for a while, mainly as i love gadgets and everyone has one...do i want one? is it worth having one? I'm already an ibook owner so internet not a necessity.

last year i was given the money instead of an upgrade and it really helped as i didnt pay line renal for nearly a year....

Any opinions greatly appreciated xxx

well if the internet is not that important might be worth getting the cash and buy an Ipod Touch instead. So you dont have to either sign up to a special Iphone tariff or have Iphone bolt on included which will cost you extra in line rental :-(. Therefore costing you more. Only difference from Iphone and Itouch mainly is obivously the Itouch does not have the phone feature but do have all the gadet stuff, can add the applications etc..

than I would say forget it and get something like sony ericsson W995, W705, Nokia 96 etc. instead.

If you already have an itouch and don't need the internet then there doesn't seem much point in getting an iphone.
