Virginmedia Customer Service...They never let you down!

I've been on the phone to Virgin to re-negotiate a deal for myself for a V+ box. I spoke to the 1st person, she said I was able to get a V+ box for £49 if I upgraded my TV to XL...great I thought. I said I'd go away and have a chat to the boss/missus. We decided to go for it. I rang twice after that being told completely different stories. I explained that I'd rang before, but they weren't having any of it! Left it a while and tried again...Finally, success. I spoke to another person and finally managed to get a V+ box for £49.

What are your thoughts on VirginMedia Customer services?!! Or dare I ask?! Had as much trouble as I've had? At least I got there in the end. :j

I would guess that the call centre staff are working to targets, bonuses and commission. Within that framework they probably have some individual latitude for negotiation. One person you speak to may be desperate just to meet a customer target while the next operator may be more desparate to reach a commission level.
