Not those Option Arms, Alt A or whatever they are called, again
Good job United have a ruck of good youngsters coming through
I think the Option Arms is just off Lombard Street. The Alt A sounds like one of those club/bar places where you can't hear yourself think.
Well if they can sell the youngsters in time then they'll be able to make the payments on the PIK!0 -

They'll need them. After all, they paid £35million for anderson & nani.
PS apparently they're releasing Gibson, F Campbell and one other...
That said, I know Wellbeck is highly thought of by SAF.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
The club made a £40m profit(I am sue that is what i saw a few weeks ago). It is the parent company that made the loss.
I think the last figures were £500M believe me if they can't refinance sheik Mohammad will buy it. He is a life long fan:)
£300M for the club = debt free. H&G use the £300m to clear debt.
Like it or not liverpool will not go bust.
Man U are a worse purchase on paper as they are not profitable
Yes, but the parent/holding company are in trouble. What I'd like to know, is will the premier league take the same stance as was taken with Southampton (ie holding company are in admin, therefore club technically in admin), or will they be more lenient? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

They'll be lenient if it's one of the Big Four I suspect. The FA seem to be terrified of a European League starting that cuts them out of the picture.0 -

I imagine they would have to take the same stance as with Southampton FC. Otherwise what's to stop other PL club owners forming holding companies and piling on debt, knowing its ok because its not technically the football club's debt."For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't understand, dont matter."0 -

like i said the easy fix is sell the asset to clear the holding companies debt.
In reality the club is debt free so is still an attractive asset.
G&H would close the parent company if it was sold as i am sure the bank would want the money
if the debt was on the head of the club it would not look as attractive but a club making £40m is not a bad option.
To buy the parent company for £300M would be stupid as that as the debt, but if you purchase the asset off the parent company you do not take on the parents companies debt as you have not purchased the parent company.
Ps I think they would take the 10 point stance but in reality any buyer would want to purchase before then as the 10p would cost quite a bit (champions league revenue)0 -
Supporter of a "Debt4" Club?
Everton havent won a trophy since 1995 (as you correctly state), basically because they dont have access to the credit that the above clubs do. Lets not pretend money hasnt grossly disorted football over the last 10 years
