Have you successfully resold used nappies?

My little'uns no longer need their nappies
I want to sell my clean and fresh pile (of nappies
) on.
I tried sneaking them through ebay, but listing has been pulled twice.
MSE lists lots of places they can be sold on various threads, but I can't seem to find any posts saying "yes I've done it easily via such and such" usednappies.co.uk doesn't seem that busy, local friday ad is breeding ground for annoying calls and NCT sale isn't for another good few months.
Anyone had any success anywhere? Thanks

That's bizarre!! I've sold loads of used cloth nappies on there but not recently. Need to complain to eBay if that's the case!0

It's very odd that your listings have been pulled when there is a category specifically for re-usable nappies?
I've seen lots of used re-useable nappies listed on their too, as that's where I'm planning to get mine from when bump comes along!Mum to 2 cheeky little monkeys!Usborne Books at Home Organiser0 -

try the cloth nappy tree, it's quite a busy forum. I've sold come of my used nappies on there. www.clothnappytree.o.uk
I can't remember the web address but there's another one, I think it's UK parents lounge which has a classified board which is also fairly busy.
there's also clothnappyaddicts but you need to have been a member for a while before you can sell.
Hope this helps,

I've bought and sold on usednappies.co.uk it might not seem busy but it's free to list so whats the harm?
Ebay won't let you sell used nappies as they are classed as clinical waste, so only brand new ones can be listed in their re-useable nappy section.
TBH depending on what type you have and how used they are you might be better off just doing a good deed and posting them on freecycle or giving them to your local surestart centre. I found that with some of mine they weren't going for that much and by the time I would have packaged them and sent them etc it really wasn't worth my time selling them, also I got given some on freecycle so obviously re-posted them when I was finished rather than sell them. You can pick up some amazing bargains of brand new sets as lot's of people buy them and never use them, so a heavily used set you may find you won't get that much for. I don't mean to sound as negative as my post reads, I was only sharing what I found with my prefolds, shaped nappies etc keep their price much better and I don't mean to try and put you off. It's always worth advertising them for free, what about your local gumtree?0 -
Try Netmums in your area http://www.netmums.com/home/home/. They have a thriving buy and sell board.
Good deed or not, I couldn't bring myself to give them away - they cost a fortune in the first place and a lot of the reason to spend that amount of money is that you can always recoup some of the initial outlay when they're no longer needed.
I bought loads of used ones for my daughter when her baby was due - they were expensive but well worth the outlay and she has already sold the first sizes on.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Given that its fairly well known that ebay don't allow you to list used washable nappies any more, I'd give you an enormous neg if I bid and won cloth nappies you'd sold, and they turned up a bit frayed and less than pristine white! It's quite a risk to take if you sell more than just occasionally, I'd have thought.0
