Channel 5 and Setanta

Hi,

This is not a moan about Setanta Sports or anything. I have just got a Setanta Card but I can't find channel 34, which is the Freeview channel it should be on,
anywhere on my EPG.
I can get channel 5 perfectly and I thought they used the same frequency/satellite?

Any help would be great or does it sound like an ariel problem?

Is your freeveiw box set up to show scrambled channels in the EPG ? you may need to change a setting to display them, does your EPG show the Top Up TV channels 38,39 and 40 ?
Just to be clear, you talking about 'Freeview' and not Freesat as you mention 'satellite' in your post

Nope my box doesn't show the scrambled channels? Do you know how I can do that?
I am definitely talking about freeview, I am using BT Vision.

Any help would be great.

Try pressing 'BT Vision' button , then 'settings' 'general settings' 'tv settings' then 'customise channels', this should list all channels to appear
on the EPG, make sure channel 34 (setanta) has a tick
