Still stuck in safe mode

    No task manager and can't type into the prompt? this isn't sounding good at all :(

    Almost Virus like infact.

    But as they say, there's more than one way to skin a cat!

    Right click on any folder or "my computer"
    select tools > folder options > view and uncheck "hide file extensions for know file types"
    Hit apply

    Now create a new text document on your desktop area (right click), open it and type/copy in:

    %widir%\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\msconfig.exe
    pause

    Save the file
    Now rename it to anything you like, but change the .txt part to .bat
    The icon will change to a little box with a cog inside it.

    Run the file, this should now open msconfig... Then try the above.

    You can also do a system restore from there is you want to try that.

    Upon reboot windows will have automatically reinstalled the "new found device" namely, the keyboard ;)
