I'm back from the doc. She thinks it's hip bursitis. No treatment other than rest at the moment, no more training but she's happy for me to do the walk as long as I take it easy

Oh, and new antihistamines for the itching :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Morning all, back at work after looooong training course yesterday.. sleepy today.. yawn.

    Bookie.. :grouphug:

    Sally.. well done! :T

    Bunny.. ironing, what's that?

IA.. that is so lovely, it sounds like (and I really hope) you've found a good 'un :D

Buddingblonde.. I agree with Bunny. Plus if it's stressing you so much spending a lot then maybe it would be better to take the car? I know it can be rubbish not drinking but it might make you relax and enjoy the day more if you know you're not spending as much? Hope you have a lovely day whatever you decide.

TBH putting less money in the card doesnt really make much odds when I am still paying so much for the day - although if I take the car it cuts down the cost considerably but then I am unable to have a drink (not that I need a drink but I am always the desinated driver and for once I would like to be able to enjoy the day).

We so rarely go out (this will be our first day and night out since before Xmas) - I just feel so sad that it all comes to this.

Better to enjoy the day than not. You will get a lift from the church to the reception. You will be getting a free meal and wine too presumably!
I would take a large handbag with a few drinks in it too! :D

    Ohh, Spudly. Sounds painful.

I'm taking DD to the Dr at noon-we're still having 'toilet' issues and need to rule out that it's not a medical problem and want some help on how to deal with it. Also need to get my hormones sorted...

Squirrely-I know. I am a slave to ironing...

budding blonde, go with the flow today... you might be surprised how little you spend after all...

we can all put our heads together and come up with a strategy for coping with the rest of the month afterwards....

oh but i think £20 or £30 is plenty for the card, and the excess will cover your taxis!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
