    Morning peeps

nice and sunny this morning but cool, i`ve hung out the washing so fingers crossed it will dry before we get any wet weather.

I`ve been down the garden and picked some peas and broccolli, i left 3 broccolli plants in for the bees when they started to flower but we are still managing to get enough for a meal every now and again.

The bed is stripped so i need to put fresh bedding on and have a good clean around, i`m waiting for some sausages to finish cooking and then i`m off out with the houndies.

I shall feed my tomato plants before i set off to w*rk and i have a few other plants to check on, yesterday i weeded the entire front garden and boy did i ache afterwards, i have lots of aubretia and some pansies planted now so it should be nice and colourful later, the azaleas have just about finished flowering so it`s all green and not much colour atm.

Taplady - what a lovely surprise

Sunnygirl - glad that you are better today

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone :hello:

Just a flying visit as I have another busy day. Spent most of the night coughing so don't feel very well rested. :o

Have to drop some toys and clothes to a freecycler in a bit, post some letters, buy a new plant for a gap in the border, go into the office for a couple of hours, strip the spare bed and get it on the line while it's still dry and blowy, buy cake ingredients for DTwins' birthday next week, get out their presents which I bought in the Woolies sale and see if I need to get them anything else, prepare tuna pasta for tea, walk the dog, get more netting to support the peas and water the garden and greenhouse. On top of all the usual stuff.

Good luck for the scan FE
Glad you're feeling better Sunny girl
Fingers crossed for the job TM

    Take care all

    Haribo x

    |Hi there folks

Been MIA a bit recently with this nice weather. The veggies have come on in leeps and bounds. Had the courgette flowers last nite and they were yummy.

It is absolutely bucketing with rain here today so washing can't go out.

Hopefully a day of menu planning and arranging before my night out on the boogie bus.

Lunch is leftover savoury mince from last nite and will be having dinner out at the chinese buffet tonight.

Hugs to all that need them and good luck vibes for any exams and interviews xxx
Although I get lonely  as a single mother there are always two smiling angels ready to give me the biggest hug in the world. Love you babies :grouphug:

    Morning!

Nice sunny day here again, must get out and water the veg later:D
Still have a headache and feel exhausted all the time which is so unlike me:rolleyes: hope the increase in meds helps as I do feel awful.....am thinking of staying off work next week to get myself fully pulled round from this..I only work 2 days but really feel that a week of rest and sorting myself out will do me good, last time I was ill was last Nov so it doesnt happen often. NHS make you feel guilty though....you need a death cert to be off sick
Have just picked up some blackberries 3 tubs for £1 at local greengrocers so have made 2 big jars jam with it:j
BM is on and washing hung out...have big load of ironing still to do:rolleyes:
I am having to rest after every task which is odd for me.
FE thinking of you today and hope the scan brings good news....I left you Admiral Nurses phone number on end of yesterdays thread.
Haribo hope you feel better soon
Sunnygirl after my week of headaches I do not envy you the migrane yesterday.....glad it is better

    Morning All

Head is mush today so altho have read the thread none of it has stayed in apart from Haribo's cough - get well soon!. Oh & Tired-mum - hope you hear asap. (((hugs))) to anyone who needs one & apologies to anything major I have missed.

Its now raining in Essex & quite dark which fits my mood, was round Sis' last night for my neices birthday & my DD was completely evil - really nasty and horrible. I am not someone to make a scene in front of other people but was really upset when I came home. She is very selfish & lazy at the moment and I know that teenagers bodies are going mad etc but I am not tolerating it anymore. Both kids do not realise how lucky their lives are so they are both grounded for the weekend & if they want any treats & I mean anything they will have to earn them.

I know I am not the only one with grotty teenagers on this board :rotfl: but had definately had enough at the moment so I am doing a mini Tru :D, kids will be fed watered and have clean clothes from me but OH is in charge of everything else. Luckily I am out all day in London tomorrow so I will have a mini break from them. OH doesnt mind this and is much harder than me.

Anway enough whining, as am feeling sorry for myself am going to treat myself to a nice long bath (esp as it feels so cold today) and then making carrot cake for a friends birthday today.

    Have a lovely Friday.

    Morning :hello:
A bit of a thick head this morning, serves me right for having a few glasses of wine last night :D
I'm sure it's sinus related though

    Hugs to those in need.

Taplady, how lovely to receive a letter with such good news.

My chicken arrabiata was lovely last night, I did it in the moski and topped it with garlic bread circles. I think it will make it's way onto our meals to repeat list.

Does anyone use Mamade marmalade, how does it compare? I didn't buy any Sevilles this year and I'm fed up of buying jars of marmalade.
I must also sort out a mincemeat cake recipe and have a go at that.
As it's Friday, chippy tea tonight
