I wondered if the OP had considered working with slightly older disabled young people ( teenagers and up)? It's always difficult finding male support workers to accompany my autistic son to youth clubs etc - he doesn't want to be seen dragging his mum or other woman aroundl0

Of course, men are very much welcomed into primary teaching as they are underrepresented there and the children need male role models.0
