LOL, bet he's sat on some hot beach checking out the best 0% deals for when he gets back :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He probably paid for the whole wedding and honeymoon on a 0% slow stooze card and got cashback at the same time ;)
  • 80 years old? no assetts? bankruptcy would be the best option I think, she needs to speak to a local insolvency practioner to help her do this or go to the county court, a dmp will take forever to pay, def bankruptcy all over it:eek: she could not get an iva because of her age.
Aqua card - £250 Limit up to date, Jd Williams £150 limit up to date, Argos store card £400 limit up to date, Next £300 limit up to date.

    Just a bit tongue-in-cheek...

DH is always saying that if he gets to be 90 - he has another 15 years to go - and is on his own by then, he'll max out all his credit cards and go round the world, then say 'Sue me'. Because he pays off his balance religiously every month he is always getting his credit limit extended. I don't think he has quite as much available credit as this lady owes, but he has a fair bit.

All the card providers warn what happens if you don't pay off your balance regularly, and if you only pay the minimum required then it will take a lot longer, if ever, to pay it off - in the meantime of course they are increasing your credit limit AND charging interest on the balance, and interest on interest...

LOL - its funny reading all those people's comments, lets be honest, none of them have ever met Martin so why are they bothered about seeing pics etc? I mean, cmmon - lets get real for a moment!

He can't post pics on here cos the mag that he prob sold them to will get snotty :rotfl:

Like Martin himself said, proper honeymoon later in year - probaly cos its cheaper or his new CC deal will be valid then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o

I totally agree - wonderful society of irresponsible lending we live in - then the usual mob on here get on their high horses moaning at us for 'ripping off the banks' but all the while the banks are the idiots throwing money at people who clearly cannot pay it back (not your DH - in general)

Just remind him that it's all very well doing this but any debt can be taken from his estate upon death so make sure everything is in ermmm, your name long before then!

I think you'll find quite a few people have met Martin and Lara and certainly know a lot more about him and his ethos than you obviously do.

LOL, i've met him but you know what? I'm not exactly shouting from the ceiling - I met him in a work related capacity and have no desire to be a clinger on like ermmm, you maybe?

Good luck to the guy, but before you come here gobbing off, please get your facts right. :j

Bythe way, what on earth did I say about his ethos? Please, tell me? His ethos and me have no desire to get to know one another - he is entitled to believe what he likes, as am I, as are you.

It really would help if you read posts properly, I didn't say you hadn't met him, nor indeed that I have met him so not exactly "gobbing" off as you so politely put it.

You really want to try reading the rules and in particular this post by Martin...

Its fairly clear you have no idea of the ethos of Martin and certainly not this site, despite the Forum Etiquette posted on every page.
