I have often been in the Cadbury shops in the factory outlet places and have never been impressed with them. Price are not that good, many items are cheaper in the supermarkets and I have often found they are selling out of date items.

Nothing wrong with out of date chocolate to be fair.

The problem I have is they dont show that its out of date in the price they charge, as where as the main factory shop at bournville does!!

Plenty of boxes of them at the Doncaster store. Even though it is a bargain I feel so greedy for buying them!

Still piles of boxes of the Mini Eggs at Gunwharf Quays too. This is a great deal, many thanks OP. Sell-by date on these is 07/09 BTW.

I was praying I didn't bump into anyone from Weight Watchers as I bought mine. lol.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

These places a total rip offs. There is one in Atlantic Village down Devon, and they do a bag of miss shapes for £3.79? The 750g bag?? Anyways, being from Birmingham, and having access to a cadbury card I went direct to the factory shop where these bags were selling for £1.

I bet down at Bournville these boxes of mini eggs are about £2.

How do you get a Cadbury Card?

    Thanx

When we visited Cadbury World a couple of years ago, we went on a Monday and we got a one use card to use in the Bournville shop (which is only open weekdays), it was great and if I hadn't been heading off on a two week summer (hopefully hot) holiday in my touring caravan, I would have filled the caravan up, as it was we got boxes of Fredddos for £2, large eggs with two chocolate bars for 20p etc.
    HTH FiFi :)

Anyone know if they're in the Cadbury outlet at Doncaster? Going Fathers day shopping and they'd be perfect! (Well, I'd rather get that than socks)

Misshapes are actually £3.29 per bag, they are a mix of mainly Milk Tray and Roses and have an RRP of £9.99....Bargain and they are the shops best seller! Everyone loves 'em. Your very lucky to have access to a Cadbury Card which effectively is your golden ticket to cheap chocolate which isn't available to most of the UK population.

You must remember that having a store on an outlet is an expensive business, the overheads and rent are ridiculously over priced. however, aside from that, the prices in the store are great value. The Cadbury Factory Shops sell a wide range of goods that CANNOT be found in the Supermarkets. Yes there are a few products, that on occasions, the supermarkets will have cheaper BUT they can afford to do this has they sell them at a loss and can increase their prices on other non-food items around there stores, which you and I won't even notice - which then compensates for the profit lost in reducing confectionery retail prices.

The staff in the Factory Shops have no control over the pricing of goods, yet on many occasions I have overheard customers having a right go at staff for a certain product been more expensive than the supermarket - it ain't their fault.

Oh and the 9kg boxes of Mini Eggs aren't available in Bournville just the Cadbury Factory Shops, £10 for the box is exceptional value, not even ASDA or Tesco could beat that one!

    Regards,

    Chocolate Fan!
