  • I tend to agree with you there as normally the prices are scandalous for an outlet; the mishapes they sell you can get for £1 in Iceland and other shops admittedly 500g but still better than the outlets, but I think the cost in this case is damn good and it would be too far away for me to travel to Bournville.

Im not disputing that this deal is not good. But I am just making you aware that these shops are outrageous with their prices on most if not all things. Dont be fooled into the fact that it says on your carrier bag " Cadburys factory Outlet " that you have got a fantastic deal, because you havent.

However, yes these mini egg are a fantastic price if you put it into perspective... but I wouldnt be suprised if these were only a couple of quid down the factory shop at bournville, like the 9 milk button easter I got the other week for £2, or the 40 bars of cadburys dairy milk for £2 and the 48 twirls for £2.40!!

I wish i lived near an outlet.

  • Can anyone go to the Bournville shop and does anyone have the address, please?

Yes, but these shops claim they are factory outlets... making you think your paying factory prices..... but I can tell you for sure, the prices are nothing like the actual factory outlet down in Bournville.

What I am saying is, yes its a good price... but I bet you these boxes a couple of quid down the actual factory shop in Bournville.

I should think they would be cheaper at Bournville, but don't forget they have to be transported to the outlets and this does costmoney.
I think 9k for a tenner is a good deal. Thanks OP.

No, you either have to be a member of staff or know a family member or friend that has worked there. They get a special card that allows you into the factory shop at bournville. Its soooo cheap!

I understand the travel costs, but it still doesnt warrant most of the prices of things in the outlets, this however is a good deal.

My daughter works there. It's quite dangerous really, as I've developed an addiction to it :D

There are two shops. One for the tourists actually in cadbury world, then the factory shop which requires the staff card.

The factory is still not that cheap I have found on cadburys cakes or anything like that. Its only cheap on the actual chocolate.

I have often been in the Cadbury shops in the factory outlet places and have never been impressed with them. Price are not that good, many items are cheaper in the supermarkets and I have often found they are selling out of date items.
