please advise, cheers
When you click on that link choose map view or list view. On the left hand side there is a bit to click that says Filter by store facility. Click that then click Services then tick pharmacy.
None of the stores near my have a pharmacy anyway, oh well.Debt: Started at £4780, now at £4190

From now until the 24th of September Sainsbury Pharmacy are offering free Cholesterol & Blood Sugar Tests instore. They just do a small skin needle test to draw a small amount of blood and then it takes just 10 minutes to get your results. Well worth doing every couple of years for people over 40yrs.0

Do you have to ring to make an appointment or can you just drop in.

Book an appointment at your local Sainsburys pharmacy for the free test.0

I have seen these advertised in the past but you are supposed to fast for 12 hours before a cholesterol test. At least that is what you have to do to have a blood test at the hospital. Surely this means the test might not be accurate? They don't ask you to fast beforehand.0

Just had mine done at my localish Sainsbury Pharmacy. I thought it was just a cholesterol test and wasn't informed it was a glucose test too or asked to fast, but fasted just in case. I provided with the paperwork (and promotional literature) with details of the average in each case, plus my 100 Nectar points. It sounds like this is an annual promotion.
There have been recent cases with faulty blood testing strips, but if you're borderline, or concerned it's always best to seek your doctor's advice, but most good pharmacies will suggest you do so anyway.Free thinker.:cool:0
