why would they loose something - loose - as in your trousers are loose.
they were rumored to lose the exclusivity when the last iPhone was coming out, it's the same rumour each time, but a 5 year contract is just that.. a 5 year contract for exclusivity!

Does that make you feel clever, correcting someone's english? Guess you don't get out much?--

Which one looks better though, iPhone. Apple have made it sociably acceptable to carry a PDA
Hmm, my HTC looks more like this:
Also it has a 5 MP camera.
And I can forward text messages.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I have a DSLR.And I can forward text messages.
What version of Windows Mobile are you running?
Are you going to be able to install Windows Mobile 7 when (if) it's released next year?0 -
Have to agree with you there. On most forums there are so many typos, spelling, and grammatical errors that just about every post could be corrected and the usefulness would go through the floor.pstones578 wrote: »Does that make you feel clever, correcting someone's english? I installed dictionaries and turned on the spellchecker in FireFox as I have sausage fingers (but can usually spell OK) and it underlines errors in my posts before I enter them. Of course it wouldn't help with the lose loose issue.0 -

I dont think the iphone actually looks that nice, its just you cant say anything bad about it cause its just a black slab of plastic with the edges rounded off and some white trim, its not ugly but its not good looking either...Are you going to be able to install Windows Mobile 7 when (if) it's released next year?
It wont be impossible but probably not as HTC isn't the best company when it comes to supporting old phones. aparently you can shoehorn andriod on these phones if you really hate wm.0 -

The iPhone was designed by Jonathan Ive, who spent more time on it that you think. He's widely regarded as being one of the best designers in the world.
Apple have a very minimalist design philosophy. If something doesn't need to be there, take it out.It wont be impossible but probably not as HTC isn't the best company when it comes to supporting old phones.
That's a pity.0 -

I get out plenty thank you very much. It doesn't make me feel clever, I already know I am clever, as is everyone who can offer advice on any topic of discussion. We all have our own areas of expertise.
And correcting someone's english, well, I'm quite OCD, so, I'm allowed to have my quirks, maybe people don't let their personality appear on the internet as much as myself.
Yes, people are normally sarcastic back to me when I have corrected them, but just maybe, in future, they'll remember my little lighthearted banter, and type in the right word.
There are not that many errors on this forum, but the glaring ones that are obvious I like to point out.
It's like when people except something, rather than accept something, or, in this situation, loose something, rather than lose something. Spell checkers don't pick up, and maybe it is just a little pet hate of mine. You should see me on the NYC thread on the travel board, I always pick up when people spell Manhattan incorrectly.

Not as nice as an iPhone, is it?

I have put it side by side against an Iphone, and other than the rounded corners....I have a DSLR.
So do I, but I don't have to carry it around with me to take a half decent picture! What version of Windows Mobile are you running?
6.1Are you going to be able to install Windows Mobile 7 when (if) it's released next year?
Possibly yes, possibly no. Will it be worth it? Possibly yes, possibly no.
I will however have a better more functional phone.
I was actually on o2 prior to having the HTC, and chose the Touch HD over the over rated and under spec'd Iphone.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

So you think that 5 megapixels will be of any use at all on a phone camera?inmypocketnottheirs wrote: »So do I, but I don't have to carry it around with me to take a half decent picture!Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
