Newnet v Madasafish

Hi all,
Wrote a long thread but seem to have lost it in the nether somehow while trying to submit.
Anyway, looking to jump on the broadband bandwagon for the first time.
Been looking at Newnet's Home Broadand S package with 25GB allowance, 2MB upload rising to 8MB when available, one month min contract for £18.95 per month. However activation fee of 47+VAT and no modem/router. (£283 annual including activation fee). Already bought one of those Linksys Wireless modem/router and PC card packgae for £40.
How does this compare with Madasafishs Max Plus (20GB allowance) costing £19.99 for 6 months and £25.99 for 6 mths (£276 annual). Could cost upto £335 if additoinal cost of £5 per month is included to make comparable to Newnets package.
Grateful for any views on which provider to go for. Also, is it worth considering the Maafs 5GB package and upgrading in future to higher allowance package if the need arises?
Many thanks in advance for any comments.

Hi Manik,
In my experience, I've found that if a customer is 'new' to broadband from dial-up, they don't accrue large amounts of usage.
Your original thread may have addressed why you're looking for a product with massive amounts of bandwidth.
My advice with either Madasafish or Newnet is to start on a package with low usage and should you find that you are exceeding that useage threshold then switch to a package with a higher usage.
Speaking on behalf of Madasafish, you can sign up for our 5GB package and switch to our 20GB package at any time without incurring any penalty or a longer contractual obligation.
This way you won't be paying for usage that you aren't using and you'll save some money.
Kind regards,

Thanks for the advice Samara. Will consider this option
