Car Hire- Birmingham

Hi Folks

I am looking to hire a car at Birmingham airport in a few weeks time for 4 days.

The mose economical price for a decentish car (Apx 1.6 sized) is ~£90 to £100. However when you add 2 x child seats at £20 a whack, that results in a cot of roughly £140 for 4 days.

Is that a bit steep?

Any tips?

Just read your post and sorry if it's too late but we flew from Derry to Birmingham with Ryanair last year and the kids carried on their booster seats as hand luggage - no charge. One the way back we put 2 booster seats in a large carrier bag and the wee one carried all his Thomasland purchases in another bag! If yours are in proper baby seats they might be too big to carry on tho.
  • home bargains sell cheap booster seats! if you are coming from the airoport any chance of getting someone to meet you with a few:confused:
i live in birmingham but dont drive and got kids in parttime nurseryotherwise id do it for you!
