i smashed my iphone screen and dont have insurance, has anyone any ideas how i can get it fixed without paying £140 to apple !!

Long and short is you can get it done elsewhere from £50 upwards if you want to do it yourself, BUT you'll lose any remaining warranty on the rest of it if you don't go via Apple.
