No refund of advance charges taken by DD

Early January this year I decided to move both my and my wifes mobile contracts away from Isis Telecommunications Ltd to a new supplier. As we paid a monthly line rental fee by direct debit and they agreed to let us go we were owed two lots of part month line rental that had been charged in advance by direct debit.

Its now June. I have made at least six calls and actually had two emails confirming that we should be paid back. Despite this we haven't received anything.

I went to the Ofcom site and this suggests that every mobile company should have an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. There is no ADR advertised on the Isis Telecom site. I dont want to call them again as their customer service number is an 0870 number.

My next step will be to contact my bank and ask for a refund. The strange thing is that Isis Telecommunications have all kinds of customer service awards. I wish there was an easier and less time consuming way to get our money back.

Reclaim - instigate a D/D indemnity (refund process) from your bank - the amount taken was incorrect & not adjusted to proper amount due, stipulate Isis knowing you were departing charged in advance & you have seeked refund from them to NO avail.
