Abusive buyer problems

Make sure you keep these e-mails as evidence for ebay!
And given that feedback is afterall subjective and I personally think about the WHOLE ebay experience taken from either the buyer or the seller, that leaving a neg is perfectly justified in this instance. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
Participating in Square Trade is totally voluntary so you don't have to do it if you don't want to. You can report abusive messages via ebay by going to this link:

What if he'd paid using a stolen credit card, and paypal reversed it? Technically he would've paid on time so by your logic should get positive feedback.headcovers wrote:You'll probably shoot me down in flames for this one. But surely the feedback should be for how the transaction went.
Did he pay on time and did the transaction go fairly smoothly? If so, then perhaps it would have been fairer to leave a positive. If not and he defaulted in some way on your contract then a negative is justified.
But I don't think you should neg someone for sending abusive emails after the event. This should be reported to Ebay via other methods. Whilst your reason (to warn other sellers was commendable) I don't think the feedback should be used for that purpose.
He's said he's done this before but his feedback didn't reflect that. If it had, I'd've blocked him from bidding. Bad buyers should not be allowed to get away with it.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I used a link yesterday that was specifically for reporting abusive emails, but it can't hurt to report it again!mr_fishbulb wrote:If someone was potentially going to send me abusive emails, I'd like to be aware of it.
I would want the fully story. Not just to hear they paid on time.

I found a way to close the Square Trade dispute without giving any card details, so I hope that's OK now.shellnsteve wrote:I think you have to pay Square trade, so maybe thats why they are asking for card details.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
