You bulls REALLY don't like this chart!

    Protesting FAR too much.

I apoloise profusely for posting such a picture that you have taken so much offense too. I will remember to post it again in the future to get you all to !!!!!! :D

Graham I should no rise to it but do you ever back your "truth" up with facts.

I will accept it if you prove it like any other sane person, but it really does not fit the picture.

Why are there no bulltraps on this?

I don't believe in this bulltrap crap, this is more of a blip in data.

ok - i understand what your saying but i don't totally agree but we never expected to agree did we ;)

the length of time that it's taken to get to the Bull Trap and from end of the Bull Trap to New Paradigm is quite considerable to the scale of the graph. here is my main probelm with the graph, from First Sell Off to Bull Trap is about 16 months in actual time. so it would mean that the next phase is about 4 times 16 months so at least five years until the next bull trap. that's why i don't think you could follow the graph.

add to that the mean would be about 80% lower than current prices after 20% falls.

The mean should be near the bull trap for it to be correct.

As you say though, theres no time indicated on the graph. Neither does it indicate, or even suggest there is a timeline associated to it.

I can see what you are saying, but as you have also stated, it's just a picture. It's not to scale, not attached to a timeline, but to say it's wrong, your going against what you said earlier and trying to attach a time to it.

If I draw a car, it does not mean to say i have drawn it to scale, unless I suggest on the drawing I have drawn it to scale.

    1975-76
    1980
    1989-90
    1992

    Or do they not count?

Can I ask, why has this got the bulls so uptight?

very interesting about chickens and quails

however can someone answer my query

if you take the mean (on the graph) to be the trend line (from Nationwide charts)

then we are at the very final stages of the graph (return to mean)

having gone below the trend line at the begining of the year and now probably crossing over it again (i.e. gone below the mean line and now crossing over it again)

(we seemed to have bypassed the bull trap phase)

thanks to whoever can help a confused graph reader

i didn't say it was wrong - i believe my comments were it's not for me and that was it.

I'll agree with whatever is easier to pacify in all honesty.
