    Morning all

Not a bad morning here don't think it has really decided which way to go yet but the barometer looks good so fingers crossed.

Day off today and I think I shall have a run to M&S to see if they have any nice summer things in - could use a few new office blouses/tops - and I have quite alot of vouchers (courtesy of Pigsback!!!!:j) to spend. Asda is next door so think I will see if they have some of those lovely pork and chorizo sausages - if so that's what we shall be having for tea, in tomato sauce with pasta - if not I have some hm meatballs in freezer that we can use - either way I think def pasta, as not had it for ages!

Wm has finished and clothes out on the line. I will turn bm on just before I go out so that it will finish as I get back - my bread always seems better if I lift the lid as soon as it is finished.

My potato plants have gone mad this week and I am just wondering if I should have earthed them up again before we went away - too late now I suppose. I am dying to see what sort of crop we get. Tomatoes also have loads of yellow flowers on them too and lettuce is going wild!!!! Been a good week for the plants.

    Pen-pin take it easy

Donny-gal and Nessie -sounds like a nice weekend for you!

Flissh - how exciting for you - enjoy his time at home!

Bitsy - we call that sort of tea - make your own night - we do this most fridays as by then I have usually had enough of cooking after working - we used to get a takeaway on a friday - till I became a reformed (or skint) character!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Good luck for friday!

Halight you will find it very quiet when the twins go today!

    Welcome Owl.

Right must get on - it has taken me ages to type this. Had my nails overlaid with gel for the wedding and they are now too long to type quickly with - need to sort that out!

    Have a good day everyone

I forgot to say that DD's exams have gone well this week and luckily for her, she has her final 3 tomorrow, so I am hoping that I am well enough to take her out to celebrate. I have some Tesco vouchers that we can use;) These are only exams to put her into sets (I think) as she is 14 and starts most of her GCSE's in September. She has been revising hard for these and looks knackered...poor thing!

Thanks to all who sent messages re my headache......still feel fuzzy headed and exhausted with pain coming and going all the time. Cant get a GP appt for over a week:rolleyes: and they dont feel I need an emergency one.
Am feeling a bit down at the mo about it as I hate being ill...can feel the depression starting to overwhelm me and am trying to claw my way out of it:o....I did cut down my anti d`s a month or so back in an effort to get off them and maybe thats something to do with it...I just find it so frustrating that I cant function normally without these stupid tablets.
    Enough of me moaning....
Warm but overcast here today, am not too bothered as I hate the sun anyway lol....must be one of few people who do but I prefer autumn and winter....I hate being too hot....how I managed to live in southern spain and southern france astounds my OH:D

NPM you're not cheeky offloading on here. Sure we can all say someone is worse off than us but it doesn't mean your current problems are not worthwhile.
hug hope you feel better soon xx

My lovely DIL is coming to clean my house for me today as I am tired.

    Ready Brek for brekkie

    Sandwich for lunch and

Thanks everyone for your kind messages re Dad - the Social Worker is coming to visit them later today, so I'm going to pop out of work and see her (normally wouldn't be here on a Thurs, but I changed my day so I can go to my scan appt tomorrow - typical bad timing!). I have come to conclusion that we have to be 'cruel to be kind' and for Mum's sake I have to push them into taking him into care, at least short-term *sighs* It's OK unless Dad has an 'earth moment' when he still seems to be my dad, otherwise it is easier to believe that he's an 'alien' inhabiting my dad's body, and not really him at all IYSWIM.

Bitsy - my WM is the same - sounds like a plane taking off when it spins, you honestly can't hear yourself think in the kitchen! I keep thinking (hoping!) it is on it's last legs as I really don't like it and want a new one (it was one of the things DH brought to our marriage!), but can't justify replacing it while it still works IYKWIM!

Halight - I quite agree re voting - I have always said if you don't vote you can't moan! I like the Euro's as with proportional representation some of the 'smaller' parties get a look in, so it is worth a vote for them if you have potentially good candidates!

Donny-gal - thanks so much for your msg - I typed you a nice long in return but the darned computer 'ate' it! and now I'm running out of T-break to type another. Hope you have a lovely weekend, anyhow!

OS-wise all I managed yesterday was putting the BM on for a loaf for DH's lunch today! Hope to do better today - got to sort through a pile of clothes tonight & bag up for the charity shop tomorrow, after scan.

Hope everyone still enjoying nice weather, even if a bit cooler, and that you all have a good day!

(((HUGS))) to everyone who needs/wants one!

    FE -x-

Edit - sorry NPM - meant to say that if you can't 'unload' here and have moan, where can you? Hope you feel brighter soon!

NPM have you got a NHS walk in centre or minor injuries near you that you could go to if not go to the doctors and tell them that you will wait to see someone as this has been going on for too long you need to take care of yourself of course you can talk to us thats what we are all here for
FE good luck with the social worker and hugs to you and mum, fingers crossed for the scan
Hermoine Hope DD3 is comfortable and gets on ok
PP enjoy spoiling DD she sounds like she deserves it
