My contract with Vodafone is due to expire next month, so I contacted them to cancel and chage to a pay as you go phone.
They immediately offerred to cut my line rental from 20.00 per month to 6.70.
This icludes 75 mins of calls free to any network and 50 free text messages.
They also included the passport..
What a result!!!!

yes got a good deal myself they reduced my line rental from £15 down to £10 gave me a k750i and a jabra bluetooth needsless to say i was delighted all for mentioning t mobile flext tariffs

Never offered me a bl**dy thing, save a new phone. Were 100% not interested, so I left. Sadly, my O2 coverage at work is decidedly patchy, so the extra minutes for less money are perhaps slightly worthless!!

You must be lucky - I wasn't offered anything worth staying for. Now my
T-mobile renewal is due and last year they offered my 750 off peak Tmobile/landlines + 50 tests for £5 per month. Was VV pleased with that - hope they can offer same this time!

just called vodafone for my upgrade & they seemed not very helpful!

offerd 350 x-net mins & 50 txts for £23 incl but no new Phone

forgot to say you have to ask for your pac code to leave and then retentions will probably ring you within 48hrs this is what happened to me
