Have tried and tried and tried ....getting nowhere at al.....sorry to have to give up VC.....I thought it was time I had a laptop, but if I'm with BT and that uses IE...will that mean I still won't be able to use couponnet ?
I would hazard a guess that you should be ok, as long as you load the couponprinter from rapidshare, since the new one will not have had any glitches added to it....I personally however, would change my default browser , since I (as you might have guessed!!) much prefer the features and extra security of Mozilla firefox

Right, have followed the instructions and have come to print the coupon. Says i needed to install printer which i did from saved rapidshare file but now my screen says set up not successful. it goes on to explain it could be my security settings. any ideas what to do now please?

follow the next instruction from post#8

    edit...
load CCleaner and clean everything several times ESPECIALLY the registry until it comes back clear
    load FF3 from USB
    download rapidshare file
Do a test print on your printer, and make sure it is set as the default printer
run rapidshare file, until it says coupons are ready to print
go onto couponnet page 2, and try printing the gas coupon (this one because it will allow multiple downloads!)
If it says to download the coupon installer...GO BACK TO YOUR SAVED ONE AND START TO INSTALL AGAIN...... you should not need to fully install it as it will automatically (after a few minutes), pick up the one you installed, that I put on rapidshare...and will then print the coupon
this stage may take several minutes...or it may fail...and put you back to where you were...some have reported success following the instructions to the letter....others haven't:confused:

Thank you. i have started to install my saved one and did not need to install fully. I now have the couponnet screen "setting up the coupon printer" and there is a message flashing on the bottom left saying transfering data from frontdoor1coupons.com. it does this for about 5 minutes then i get setup not successful. Anything else i should do apart from throw it out of the window!!!!!!

    Hello

Mrs T here from the other side lol

I was hoping you techie folk might be able to help me out please. I am trying to install the couponnet software for the first time on my sisters new laptop (lots of coupons for me hopefully ;))

Every time I try to install it I get this message.

(you must be connecte4d to the internet to install the coupon printer for windows)

I am definetley connected to the internet that I am sure of. Also when I google couponnet and it comes up on the search I see next to the description it says unsupported operating system so I am not sure if It might have something to do with that.

It is an hp laptop with windows vista basic home edition on it so I cant see why it would be unsupported.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Mrs T :D

EDIT Sorted Not Exactly Sure How But Hey Im Happy :D

Why couldn't I install the Coupon Printer?

If you are experiencing problems installing the Coupon Printer there may be a few reasons:

    1. You may not have permission to download programs on your computer or you are using software that blocks the installation
If you are trying to print coupons at work or from a computer at a library, Internet cafe or university, you may not have permission to download and install programs onto the computer you are using. This may be true even if you've downloaded and installed other files. Contact your network administrator for more information. If you have a home computer, you may find it easier to access our coupons there.

You might also be running software that prevents installation on your computer. Please make sure to turn off any anti-virus software or any anti-spyware or adware software. While we have attempted to work with most of the major publishers of such software to ensure that our Coupon Printer is not blocked, there may be programs that block the installation, or put up a warning that you are about to install a program. You should choose to allow the installation.

    2. The security settings in your browser are set too high
If you receive warnings or errors that an attempt to install and ActiveX control (Internet Explorer) or a plugin was blocked, or are asked for permission to install a program, you may need to change your browser's security settings to allow installation of these types of controls. Also, make sure to click the appropriate buttons in any dialog boxes that appear to allow the installation. Modern browers make you jump through a few hoops to install plugins, but it's worth it!

    3. Your operating system or browser is incompatible
Coupon printing is currently supported on Windows 98, NT4, 2000, ME, XP and Vista when used with Internet Explorer 5+, Netscape 7+, FireFox 1.0.7+ and most MSN and AOL browsers. Coupon printing is also supported on Macintosh when using Safari under OS X 10.3 and higher. Coupon printing is not supported by the Compuserve 2000 7.0 browser. While connected to Compuserve, use Internet Explorer or another browser to print your coupons. Coupon printing is not supported on Linux or WebTV.

  • I hope this isnt a stupid question but does anyone know how I could edit a PDF?

For instance I want to print only the coupon part of the peppadew coupon and not the picture on top?

I hope this is in the right place, thanks
