Did you stick FF3, and CCleaner on from a USB, and use FF3 to download the rapidshare file...or did IE get used as part of the download or for windows system update or registration on install?
If the internet connection was on during installation, it will undoubtedly have checked for updates...since you cannot restore now......there is nothing to restore to!..you will have to do re-install again, without internet connection, until you have FF3 on...
At least you don't have to worry about losing any data:D
I wasn't aware of IE being used during installation as I just installed FF3.
I don't think the internet was connected during XP installation either, as this PC is on a wireless connection (so needs the wireless card software installing which was not at the time).I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
Think it's a way of me stopping printing coupons....if I could just get my printer back then I doubt i will want to use couponnet ever again....0
