How do I block people from my ebay? Can't seem to see how to do it... Sorry to hijack this thread, thanks!

On the 'help' section at the top of the page, type in Blocked Bidders list, and follow the links - it comes up as a FAQ, with a links to take you there

Mippy - I have just skimmed through this thread and want to say that I wish you well and hope that everything turns out well. Prats like this are often just like bullies, if someone stands up to them they run away screaming with their tails between their legs. Let's hope this is what happens here.

negative F/B left by the Princess on 14/9/2008:

ok item, turned up L8 despite assurances it would be there in time, bad Comms :(

    Seller's weary but good-humoured response:

Item was posted once payment recieved, apparently I'm an idiot, oh well.

    Princess's response:

unfortunately all you can expect from this seller - lies insults and abuse-AVOID!

But there were no lies or insults. And no abuse. What the Princess saw in that seller's response is the opposite of what anyone else sees.

Whilst it's sad that anyone has issues so severe that they need to power-trip in their eBay F/B, or misconceive what others say so as to heighten their own certainty of being victimised or discriminated against, I feel even more sorry for all those eBayers who -- like the OP -- have inadvertently found themselves dragged into so disturbing a fantasy world as this.

Anyway. Hopefully all's well now for the OP. Also hopefully, every eBayer here has made use of the blocked bidder facility. There's been some fun on this thread, but underneath this issue is a pain and a darkness I wouldn't want to be within a million miles of. . .

This would be a good case for Judge Judy. I'd love to see that she'd sort it out.

Joking aside I'm sad to read this thread though. Several years ago I used to do loads of worldwide buying and selling on ebay and loved it. I took a break and now only buy occasionally although I have a lot of items I'd love to sell. However I'm really nervous to sell anything I'm not prepared to go through ridiculous scenarios like this and others I've heard about on MSE and other forums. Very sad to see what ebay has come to.

My neighbour sold to a man who lived just around the corner (it turned out), who was really aggressive in his emails, and caused no end of trouble. She gave in and refunded him, primarily because of him living close by and not needing the aggro. I luckily have had no problems.

This thread has been useful, for highlighting the troublemakers out there, so thanks OP.
